SC Corporation Reports Impressive Revenue of 2.6 Billion in Q1 2018
SC Corporation summarized its Q1 2018 results, showing growth in all areas with total revenue of 2,686 million baht, a 53% increase compared to the same period last year. The net profit reached 259 million baht, growing 244%. The company is pleased with the strong sales across all price levels in both horizontal and vertical projects, and is preparing to launch an additional 17 projects valued at over 17,000 million baht this year.
Mr. Attapol Surasithipanthawat, Chief Support Officer of SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited, a developer of quality real estate across all price ranges, stated, "The performance of Q1 2018 for SC shows comprehensive growth in sales, revenue, and net profit, with total revenue of 2,686 million baht, a 53% increase compared to the same period last year. The main revenue source comes from property sales, accounting for 92% of total revenue, with a net profit of 259 million baht, a 244% increase from the same period last year. The company also has a backlog of approximately 10,800 million baht, of which 47% will be recognized as revenue this year, and the remaining 53% will be recognized in 2019-2020. The company maintains its annual revenue target at 17,000 million baht."
In terms of sales, the company achieved 3,662 million baht, a 7% increase from the same period last year, across both horizontal and vertical projects at all price levels. Notably, new projects launched in the first quarter received excellent responses, including the Centric Ratchayothin condominium, located just 150 meters from the Ratchayothin BTS station, which has achieved 75% sales. Additionally, the single-house project at Phatthana Phothi-Chachoengsao has also performed well. Meanwhile, existing horizontal projects priced at 8 million baht and above saw sales growth of over 70% compared to Q1 2017.
During the annual general meeting of shareholders for 2018, a resolution was passed to approve a dividend payment of 0.12 baht per share, representing a dividend payout ratio of 44.44%, with the payment scheduled for May 22, 2018.
Mr. Attapol further stated, "SC is preparing to gradually launch the remaining 17 new projects this year, valued at over 17,000 million baht. In June, we will launch the Venue Rama 5-3 on over 7 rai of land, with a project value of 260 million baht, featuring 46 units of new twin houses starting at 5.89 million baht, building on the success of the Venue Rama 5-1 and 2 projects that received strong responses.

The new project is located on Nakhon Inthra Road, Rama 5, near the Si Rat-Outer Ring Expressway and close to the Purple and Blue Line subway (to be completed by the end of 2019). As of April 30, 2018, SC has a total of 39 projects for sale, with a total project value of 34,400 million baht."
