Univentures Public Company Limited (UV) has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2018 (January 1, 2018 – March 31, 2018) with total revenue of 4,844 million baht, leading to a total revenue of 10,532 million baht for the first half of the year (October 1, 2017 – March 31, 2018), an increase of 21% compared to the previous year.

 

         Mr. Worawart Srisaan, CEO of Univentures Public Company Limited (UV), stated that the company’s revenue for Q2/2018 (January 1, 2018 – March 31, 2018) was 4,844 million baht, an increase of 11%. The main revenue source came from the residential property sales business, totaling 3,742 million baht, which accounts for 77% of total revenue. This includes 3,116 million baht from horizontal projects, consisting of 38 projects from the Land and Houses Group, and 626 million baht from 7 vertical projects by Grand Unity Development Co., Ltd. (GRAND UNITY). Recently, the company launched the CIELA Sripatum project located next to the Green Line extension train station, opposite Sripatum University, which opened for sale in February and has received a positive response, achieving over 80% sales.

          “Currently, the company has a backlog of sales waiting to be recognized in the second half of the year totaling 6,093 million baht, divided into 4,340 million baht from horizontal projects and 1,753 million baht from vertical projects, along with recognized ownership transfer revenue of 8,309 million baht. For the second half of 2018, it is expected that revenue from the backlog of horizontal and vertical projects will be approximately 4,764 million baht, while the remaining backlog of 1,329 million baht will be gradually recognized in 2019,”

          “Additionally, there are plans to launch 20 new projects in the second half of 2018, with a total project value of approximately 26,900 million baht, consisting of 2 vertical projects worth about 4,600 million baht and 18 horizontal projects from the Land and Houses Group worth about 22,300 million baht. This is expected to ensure that sales targets are met,” Mr. Worawart added.

          Revenue from rental property and hotel businesses accounted for 9% of total revenue, or 440 million baht, while revenue from the zinc oxide business accounted for 11% of total revenue, or 516 million baht, marking the highest growth. Other business revenues accounted for approximately 3%, or 146 million baht.
