‘AP Thailand’ collaborates with ‘Kasikorn Bank’ to launch the ‘CASHLESS PAYMENT’ service, a first in the real estate sector, enhancing home purchasing options.

          Bangkok (April 10, 2017) – Today, AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a leader in urban real estate development, has partnered with Kasikorn Bank to launch the CASHLESS PAYMENT service, the first in the real estate industry to utilize ‘QR Code’ technology for home reservations. The system will generate a “Personal QR Code” for customers to make payments for their AP home reservations via QR code, enhancing convenience, speed, and safety, truly catering to the urban lifestyle. The service will first be available at the prototype projects “Pleno Pinklao-Charan” and “Bangkok Riverside” before expanding to cover all AP projects.

          Mr. Phomorn Prasertsarn, Deputy Managing Director of the Single House and Townhome Business Development Division, stated, “AP is the first leader in the real estate industry to collaborate with a leading financial institution like Kasikorn Bank to introduce the CASHLESS PAYMENT concept, facilitating transactions related to property purchases without the need for cash or checks when reserving homes in various AP projects. We recognize that currently, 61% of consumers globally, totaling over 1.66 billion people, purchase goods and services online, and the trend of using online financial transactions is continuously increasing in various forms.
