Supalai Research Center conducted a survey on the sales conditions of condominiums across various price segments in the sub-zones of the main area of Bangkok for the years 2017 and 2016.

As shown in Table 1, it was found that the supply of condominiums across different price segments in the sub-zones remained relatively unchanged between 2017 and 2016. Additionally, the survey examined condominiums in various price segments that had a sales rate of 6% or more per month based on the number of units available in each project. It was found that the number of condominiums in different zones with a sales rate of 6% or more per month remained the same between 2017 and 2016, except for the central zone, which had a higher number in 2017 compared to 2016.

The findings indicate that both the supply and demand for condominiums in 2017 remained strong, similar to or even greater than in 2016. Therefore, the Supalai Research Center believes that the sales conditions for condominiums will continue to be favorable and will not change in the near future.

Ongoing condominium projects continue to create supply in new locations throughout Bangkok, with developers needing to anticipate consumer demand for condominiums in various zones, which still adheres to the principle of Supply creates its own demand.
