Kasikorn Bank Goes All Out: Free Fees and Selling Space to Boost Online Sellers' Orders
Kasikorn Bank is fully supporting online sellers by offering free fees and selling space to boost their businesses and increase sales through K PLUS SHOP. This initiative aims to expand their customer base and help drive sales orders, as the online commerce market is expected to grow by 16.2% this year.

Mr. Patchar Somalapha, Senior Executive Vice President of Kasikorn Bank stated that the bank has announced free fees indefinitely for the “Transfer, Top-Up, Pay” services via K PLUS, which unlocks transfer fees, allowing online sellers to increase their sales and operate their businesses more flexibly. From now on, online sellers can conduct their business with a single account without needing multiple bank accounts, which will also enhance their access to loans in the future.
Additionally, the bank offers the K PLUS SHOP app, which helps merchants operate their businesses more efficiently, both online and offline. Key features include real-time notifications of incoming funds for both owners and employees. Owners can grant access to up to 10 employees to receive these notifications, allowing them to manage their business without being physically present. They can summarize sales on an hourly, daily, or monthly basis and extract data from the system for further analysis. The app also includes a new feature for creating loyalty programs to build customer relationships, as well as a unique feature for online sales where sellers may not meet customers face-to-face: generating purchase invoices for each customer to be sent via social media. The system automatically verifies payment information to prevent slip forgery and can immediately notify sellers of the status, eliminating the need for further checks, which sets it apart from other apps in the market.
Furthermore, in addition to announcing free fees, from March 28-30, at the Phadduang Square, Kasikorn Bank supported free selling space at the K PLUS PEEPSTER MARKET event, allowing well-known online sellers to promote and sell their products offline. The event featured heavy discounts, with food and household items priced at only 8 and 88 baht, encouraging a cashless society and effectively increasing the customer base and sales for merchants. During the three-day event, 60 online shops participated, resulting in 5,200 transactions through K PLUS SHOP, totaling 1.8 million baht in payments.
Mr. Patchar concluded by stating that currently, Kasikorn Bank has 1.2 million merchants using the K PLUS SHOP app, with 2.41 million transactions and a total transaction value of 2.718 billion baht. The bank's support for online sellers this time is expected to increase the number of shops using the K PLUS SHOP app to 1.3 million by the end of the year, with a total transaction value of 4.1 billion baht.
