Supalai Reports Impressive 2017 Performance with Strong Profits & Revenue, Accelerating New Project Expansion Across All Potential Locations
Supalai Public Company Limited has announced its 2017 financial results, reaffirming its record-breaking sales, profits, and outstanding revenue. The company is set to develop new projects in both horizontal and condominium formats across Bangkok, its surrounding areas, and increase sales from provincial cities, aiming for a total sales target of 33 billion baht.

Dr. Prateep Tangmattatham, Chairman of the Executive Board of Supalai Public Company Limited, stated that the company achieved remarkable success in 2017, surpassing its targets with a total revenue of over 30.777 billion baht from 20 launched projects, comprising 15 horizontal projects and 5 condominium projects. The company also generated total revenue of 25.789 billion baht, reflecting a 10% growth, primarily from the gradual delivery of condominiums in Bangkok, its surrounding areas, and provincial cities across 10 projects.
The company reported a net profit of 5.812 billion baht, a 19% increase compared to 2016, reflecting effective management under the "Creating Good Homes" initiative, which focuses on happiness and innovation in its products. Assets grew by 8%, and shareholders' equity increased by 20%, with a debt-to-equity ratio of 69% and an average financial cost of 2.79% per year as of December 31, 2017. The company also has a backlog of approximately 39.187 billion baht as of December 31, 2017, to support future revenue growth.

Mr. Traitecha Tangmattatham, Managing Director of Supalai Public Company Limited, mentioned that 2017 was a year of exceeding sales targets, with growth coming from Bangkok and its surrounding areas at 76% and provincial cities at 24%. Currently, the company is developing projects in 11 provinces: Chiang Mai, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Chonburi, Rayong, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Ratchasima, Songkhla, Surat Thani, Phuket, and Nakhon Si Thammarat, with continuous new project launches.
In 2018, the company plans to launch 13 new housing projects in 12 provinces, excluding the surrounding areas of Bangkok, expanding its investment to 12 provinces, including Chiang Rai, which will increase the sales proportion in provincial areas to 30%, with 26% from horizontal projects and 4% from condominiums, contributing to the company's sales target of 33 billion baht. The focus will be on developing new house designs that align with residents' lifestyles, making it the real estate company with the most residential projects in provincial cities.
For the first quarter, the company plans to launch 6 horizontal projects valued at over 3.5 billion baht, with one project already launched: Supalai Primo Bangsaen, and two more projects set to launch at the end of February: Supalai Essence Ladprao and Supalai Garden Ville Hat Yai. Additionally, three new projects are scheduled for March, including Bella Wongwan - Lam Luk Ka Klong 3, Novo Ville Phaholyothin - Lam Luk Ka, and Supalai Primo Chaiphruk - Bang Bua Thong.

As for the direction of residential project development in Ubon Ratchathani, Supalai continues to launch new projects, including single houses, new-style homes, and townhomes. Currently, the company has 4 projects in Ubon Ratchathani: Supalai Moda Ubon Ratchathani, Supalai Ville Ubon Ratchathani, Supalai Bella Ubon Ratchathani, and Supalai Primo Ubon Ratchathani, with plans to launch one more project in the third quarter to meet customer demand: Novo Ville Ubon Ratchathani, valued at 380 million baht.
Additionally, there are plans to launch new projects in Udon Thani and Nakhon Ratchasima, including Supalai Pride Udon Thani valued at 1.8 billion baht and Supalai Garden Ville Nakhon Ratchasima valued at 640 million baht, along with a new project in the eastern region: Supalai River Ville Rayong, a luxury single house by the river valued at 650 million baht, to help push the company's sales proportion in provincial areas to 30% as targeted.
