Mr. Natthapong Khunakarawong, CEO of SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited, discussed the company's performance for the year 2017 as follows:

  1. Record Sales

          Total sales amounted to 15,280 million baht, growing 32% (YoY), with horizontal sales at 10,547 million baht, growing 33% (YoY). The fastest-growing segment was single-detached houses priced below 5 million baht, or the PAVE brand, which grew by 189% (YoY). Meanwhile, single-detached houses priced at 20 million baht and above held the number one market share, growing by 63% (YoY), and single-detached houses across all price levels ranked second.

  1. Revenue

          SC generated operational revenue of 12,450 million baht, comprising rental and service income of 850 million baht and primary revenue from property development projects for sale of 11,600 million baht. This includes revenue from horizontal projects of 9,093 million baht, growing 18% (YoY), and vertical projects of 2,507 million baht, which decreased by 58% (YoY) due to large condominium projects being completed and ready for transfer in 2018, resulting in a decrease in operational revenue compared to 2016, with a net profit of 1,256 million baht.

          The backlog of sales awaiting transfer totals 9,703 million baht, with 50% ready for transfer this year and the remaining 50% to be transferred in 2019-2020. As of December 31, 2017, the company and its subsidiaries had total assets and liabilities of 38,498 million baht and 23,583 million baht, respectively.

          During the board meeting on February 21, it was approved to establish a subsidiary named SC ALPHA Inc. (SC Alpha Incorporation) with a registered capital of 1,000,000 USD for investment in real estate in the United States. Additionally, the proposal to pay dividends for the year 2017 at a rate of 0.12 baht per share was approved and will be presented for approval at the annual general meeting of shareholders on April 23, 2018.

          For 2018, the target sales and revenue are set at 17,000 million baht, representing growth of 11% and 36%, respectively. This year, 19 new projects worth 19,000 million baht will be launched, with two new projects opening in March:
