Univentures Public Company Limited (UV) has announced its business performance for the fiscal year 2017 (from January 1, 2017, to September 30, 2017), achieving success in line with its targets, with total revenue of 13.741 billion baht, a 9% increase compared to the same period in 2016. The company's net profit attributable to shareholders was 838 million baht. The company aims for core revenue in fiscal year 2018 (from October 1, 2017, to September 30, 2018) to be between 23 billion and 25 billion baht, with plans to launch over 35 new projects this year.

Mr. Worawart Srisuan, Chief Executive Officer of Univentures Public Company Limited, discussed the overall business performance for fiscal year 2017 (the fiscal year was adjusted from January 1 to December 31 to October 1 to September 30 each year, approved at the 38th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 26, 2017). The company achieved its goals with total revenue of 13.741 billion baht, with 12.212 billion baht (89% of total revenue) coming from real estate investment and development, 182 million baht from real estate-related businesses, and 1.162 billion baht from other businesses (including zinc oxide production), resulting in a net profit of 838 million baht.

In fiscal year 2017, the primary revenue came from the sale of real estate, both horizontal and vertical, within the real estate investment and development sector, with horizontal projects generating 8.070 billion baht and vertical projects 2.957 billion baht. Additionally, the company has a backlog of sales totaling 4.502 billion baht, consisting of 3.905 billion baht from horizontal projects and 597 million baht from vertical projects, which will be recognized as revenue in fiscal year 2018.

The horizontal projects generated total revenue of 8.070 billion baht from 37 projects under the Thang Luang Group, and in 2018, the company plans to launch 34 new horizontal projects valued at approximately 39.6 billion baht.

For vertical projects, total revenue was 2.957 billion baht from 8 projects by Grand Unity Development Co., Ltd. (GRAND UNITY), and in 2018, the company plans to introduce 4 new projects with a total value of no less than 11 billion baht. Revenue from real estate investment and development also includes income from rental properties and hotel businesses, generating 1.185 billion baht, along with 1.162 billion baht from other businesses, primarily from zinc oxide production.

Regarding the direction and overall business plan for fiscal year 2018, the company aims for core revenue between 23 billion and 25 billion baht, with approximately 85% coming from real estate sales, 65% from horizontal projects, and 20% from vertical projects. Revenue from rental properties and hotels is expected to account for about 5%, real estate-related businesses about 3%, and zinc oxide production about 7%,” Mr. Worawart concluded.
