Every year, more than 54,000 people suffer from sudden cardiac arrest, which is equivalent to 6 people every hour. Without blood supply, brain tissue begins to die within 4 minutes. AP Thailand has launched the campaign 'The Smallest Space to Save Lives' to install Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in AP condominiums, creating 'life-saving spaces' for the quality of life of over 25,000 AP families.

Led by Mr. Witakarn Janthawimon, Deputy Managing Director of the Condominium Business Division at AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited, in collaboration with Pol. Lt. Col. Dr. Sophon Krittanarak, Chairman of the Life Saving Foundation and Advisor to the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Committee of the Heart Association of Thailand, and Seacom Security Company Limited, the campaign aims to promote knowledge of Basic Life Support (BLS).

Steps for Resuscitation
1) Check the surrounding area for safety to protect both the rescuer and the victim.
2) Assess the victim's responsiveness by calling out and gently shaking both shoulders.
3) Call for help by dialing 1669 and request an AED to be brought to the scene.
4) Check for breathing by observing the chest and abdomen movements; if not visible, begin chest compressions immediately.
5) Perform 30 chest compressions followed by 2 rescue breaths, alternating between the two. It is crucial to compress the chest at a depth of about 5 centimeters at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute without stopping.
6) Use the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) when it arrives; turn it on and follow the voice prompts, alternating between steps 5 and 6 continuously until emergency responders arrive.
