The Hat Yai Business Association traveled to Khon Kaen for a study visit on August 17-18, 2017, where they were welcomed by Mr. Khemchat Somjaiwong, President of the Khon Kaen Chamber of Commerce, along with his team. The meeting today was honored by the presence of Mr. Adirek Hongpunpipat, President of the Khon Kaen Industrial Council, and Mr. Poppol Kasemsan at Ayutthaya, Executive Director of Khon Kaen MICE Management Co., Ltd. who joined in welcoming the Hat Yai business group.

          The atmosphere at the meeting included a presentation on the development strategies for Khon Kaen, focusing on public transportation systems. Mr. Suradet Taweesangskulthai, a key figure in urban development, who serves as Chairman of Khon Kaen Urban Development Co., Ltd. (KKTT) and CEO of Ch. Thavee Public Company Limited, explained the public transportation system utilizing smart cards and electric trams, which is a major project for future urban development, garnering interest from the Hat Yai business group.

In the evening, the Khon Kaen Tourism Authority hosted a welcome dinner for the Hat Yai business group at the Charoenthani Hotel in Khon Kaen.
