Techsauce Launches Techsauce Global Summit 2017 is the largest technology knowledge seminar in ASEAN, featuring over 250 technology experts, including Brett King and Mike Peng, speaking across 10 stages. The event attracted more than 6,000 attendees, reflecting the trends in FinTech, UrbanTech, and Digital Transformation that impact daily life and business. The summit also includes a Business Matching area, anticipating around 500 deals between startups, investors, and businesses.

          Ms. Oranuch Lertsuwannakij, CEO and co-founder of Techsauce Media Co., Ltd., which developed the business technology media website Techsauce.co, stated at the opening ceremony of Techsauce Global Summit 2017 that this year's event has gathered over 250 global technology speakers, including Brett King - Global Fintech Influencer, Mike Peng - Managing Director of Ideo Tokyo, Ghela Boskovich - Founder of FemTech Global, as well as notable figures in Thailand's technology sector such as Korn Chatikavanij, President of the FinTech Association of Thailand, Chachua Paes, Managing Director of AddVentures by SCG, and John Leslie Millar, Chief Strategy Officer of Ananda Development Public Company Limited.

          “All speakers will be distributed across our 10 stages, including Main Stage, Accelerate, Corporate Digitalization, Digital Transformation, FinTech Fusion, Forwarding FinTech, Scaling Platform, Tech Showcase, UrbanTech, and Venture Capital. There will be over 100 seminar topics addressing the current technology trends that are gaining interest,” Ms. Oranuch said.

          This year, over 6,000 people expressed interest in purchasing tickets to attend the seminar, including general attendees and those supported by organizations. This clearly indicates that the changes in technology, particularly in FinTech, UrbanTech, and Digital Transformation, are playing a significant role in both daily life and the business sector, attracting interest from both the general public and organizations that are rapidly adapting to these changes.

          The event also features various interesting activities, such as Business Matching between investors, startups, and general businesses, with an expectation of around 500 business matches during the event. Additionally, there will be a Startup Pitching competition featuring startups from across Asia on July 29 at the Main Stage, which is another highlight of the event each year.

          This event has received cooperation and support from major players in various industries that are focusing on technology development and investment in startups, including AddVentures, Corporate Venture Capital of SCG, Ananda Development Public Company Limited, dtac accelerate, and Digital Ventures Co., Ltd. under Siam Commercial Bank, along with many leading organizations from Thailand and abroad.

          The Techsauce Global Summit was first held under the name Techsauce Summit in 2016, aiming to be the largest technology knowledge seminar in ASEAN.
