Britania Partners with Metropolitan Waterworks Authority to Sign MOU Supporting Water-Saving Devices for Sustainable Water Resource Conservation
Britania has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) to support the use of water-saving devices that carry the MWA's water-saving label, to be installed in Britania's housing projects located in prime areas. This initiative aims to promote the value of water usage while ensuring sustainable water resource management for the long term.
Mr. Nawinn Leknawa, Co-CEO of Britania Public Company Limited (BRI), a leader in residential project development under the concept of Crafted for Better Living, expressed, “Our company operates on principles of governance and sustainable development, striving to create a balance between business growth and social and environmental care. We aim to develop environmentally friendly housing that connects with communities and enhances the quality of life for residents sustainably. We also prioritize effective resource management, particularly systematic water management, with clear short-term and long-term goals. We have installed water-saving devices in our Brighton Bangna Km. 26, Britania Ratchaphruek-Nakhon In, and Britania Bangna-Suvarnabhumi projects to elevate living standards while conserving water resources. This collaboration will promote the use of MWA's water-saving labeled devices in our projects, helping residents reduce their water expenses while contributing to sustainable water conservation.”

On the other hand, Ms. Suvara Tiwichasri, Governor of the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority, stated, “The MWA remains committed to operating within the ESG framework, emphasizing the production of clean, quality drinking water while continuously improving service delivery under governance principles to enhance the quality of life for all stakeholders. In terms of environmental aspects, the MWA prioritizes the responsible management of water resources, efficient energy use, and the promotion of innovation in water reuse, as well as concrete support for the use of water-saving devices under the water-saving label project.”

The signing of this MOU marks another significant step in promoting the value of water usage and pushing for the concrete implementation of water-saving devices in residential projects. It reflects a commitment to responsible water resource management while jointly caring for and conserving water resources in the long term, aiming to enhance quality of life and build a sustainable society for the future.
