The Asset World Foundation for Charity (AWFC), established by Asset World Corporation Public Company Limited (AWC) in collaboration with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), has teamed up with over 50 partners, including Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, C.E.S. Company Limited, KPMG Thailand, Jardine Schindler (Thailand) Limited, Krung Thai Asset Management Public Company Limited, Bualuang Securities Public Company Limited, Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, Future Visual System Company Limited, VGI Global Media Public Company Limited, Thai Samsung Electronics Company Limited, and other partners to launch the “GIVE GREEN CBD” project in celebration of Christmas and New Year. This initiative aims to transform the Central Business District (CBD) of Bangkok into a space that fosters community connection, good health, and sustainable living under the theme “The Magical Green Christmas.” The project highlights three main activities: “CBD Charity Christmas,” “AWC’s Charity Market Around,” and the charity half-marathon event “CBD WE RUN 2026.”

This project is driven by a commitment to 'create a better future' for the people of Bangkok. On this occasion, the AWFC has provided funding for the installation of clean drinking water stations at Chaloem Phrakiat 80th Anniversary Park (Sathorn) to promote good hygiene among the public, support an active lifestyle, and reduce single-use plastic waste, while delivering long-term environmental and social value to the community.

A Christmas of Sharing in the Heart of the Business District The “GIVE GREEN CBD” project redefines office buildings and business areas as more than just workplaces, transforming them into community spaces open for everyone to celebrate, share, and promote collective well-being. Key activities include “CBD Charity Christmas,” featuring an eco-friendly Christmas tree display themed “The Magical Green Christmas,” which combines sustainability with creativity, and “AWC’s Charity Market Around,” a charity market uniting over 150 partners to showcase sustainable products and support the community, held at the “Empire” building in the heart of Bangkok's CBD.

Additionally, another significant event is “CBD WE RUN 2026,” the annual charity run scheduled for January 18, 2026, aimed at promoting good health alongside environmental awareness. All net proceeds from the event will be donated to AWFC to support long-term social and environmental projects.

The project opening ceremony took place at the “Empire” building, graced by the presence of Mr. Chatchart Sitthiphan, Governor of Bangkok, and Ms. Nawalapa Traisorat, CEO and Managing Director of Asset World Corporation Public Company Limited, who co-chaired the ceremony along with over 50 partner organizations, reflecting the collaborative power of all sectors in driving the city towards sustainability and livability for everyone.

The GIVE GREEN CBD Project “GIVE GREEN CBD” is an annual initiative of the Asset World Foundation for Charity (AWFC) dedicated to driving sustainable community development through collaboration between the public and private sectors, consisting of three main activities:

  1. CBD Charity Christmas
    Featuring an eco-friendly Christmas tree display under the theme “The Magical Green Christmas,” open for viewing from now until December 26, 2025, at the “Empire” building.
  2. AWC’s Charity Market Around
    A social market showcasing quality products from over 150 entrepreneurs, communities, and charitable organizations, covering items from household goods, decorations, health products, local handicrafts, to eco-friendly products, presented by creative projects such as The GALLERY and reConcept, held in the G and M lobbies of the “Empire” building.
    This event not only opens up space for everyone to shop meaningfully but also allocates part of the proceeds to support AWFC’s “Sharing Happiness” project to promote education and well-being (Education and Wellness), creating an inspiring giving experience during the festive season.
  3. CBD WE RUN 2026
    A charity half-marathon run held for the 12th consecutive year, scheduled for January 18, 2026, under the theme “Run Creatively, Care for Bangkok.” Highlights include the Costume Run competition with grand prizes such as tickets to the world-renowned Tomorrowland music festival, with an expected participation of over 3,000 runners, and honored by Mr. Chatchart Sitthiphan, Governor of Bangkok, as the ceremony's president.
