[SPOT] I came across an interview with Mr. Pong-Nattapong, CEO of SC Asset, featured in Forbes Asia, which raised some interesting points. Amidst an uncertain economy, Thailand's housing market is undergoing a transition, with many buyers adopting a cautious approach and choosing to 'wait and see' rather than making immediate purchasing decisions.

However, SC Asset is challenging the status quo by pursuing a long-term strategy to build stability, seeking hidden opportunities, and preparing for new growth. They have developed a strategy based on three key pillars that are essential for creating organizational resilience: Brand, Buffer, and Balance.
◾Brand: Building 'brand trust' is crucial during uncertain market times, as consumers will be more discerning about which brands they choose to trust.
◾Maintaining a financial Buffer with low debt levels and strong liquidity enables the company to handle unexpected challenges.
◾Having Balance in a diversified portfolio allows SC Asset to adapt effectively to changing market conditions.
.
This includes elevating real estate with luxury that is 'beyond opulence,' such as Sonle Residences, which embodies the concept of creating luxury homes that not only 'care' but also 'deeply understand the customer.'

Mr. Pong also views this situation as stemming from 'multiple challenging factors occurring simultaneously.' He notes that 'real estate developers are facing three major obstacles: an economic slowdown, high household debt, and an oversupply in the market. When these factors converge, investors tend to delay their purchasing decisions, leading to a slowdown in sales and investments.' He estimates that this imbalance in demand and supply will persist for about 6–12 months but remains optimistic in the long term, believing that demand and supply will return to equilibrium within the next 2–3 years.
