Kasikorn Bank Implements Urgent Measures to Assist Customers Affected by Border Unrest and Flooding in the North
Kasikorn Bank has announced measures to assist customers impacted by the unrest at the Thai-Cambodian border and the flooding in the northern region caused by the influence of Typhoon "Vipa." The measures include a moratorium on principal repayments, interest-only payments for up to 3 months, additional loan amounts for home and business repairs, and other loans aimed at alleviating distress and helping customers recover and move forward quickly.
Mr. Rungreung Sukgeerkijpipoon, CEO of Kasikorn Bank, stated that the unrest at the Thai-Cambodian border and the flooding in the northern region due to Typhoon "Vipa" have adversely affected the property and livelihoods of people in many areas. Kasikorn Bank is acutely aware of the hardships faced by directly affected customers and has swiftly implemented urgent measures to assist both individual and business clients, aiming to ease their burdens and help them return to normalcy as soon as possible. The details of the assistance measures are as follows:

Assistance Measures for Individual Customers
1. Kasikorn Home Loan: Moratorium on principal repayments, interest-only payments for up to 3 months.
2. Additional Home Loan for Repairs: 0% interest for 3 months, free property appraisal fee.
3. Kasikorn Credit Card, Xpress Loan, and Xpress Cash: Moratorium on principal repayments, interest-only payments for up to 3 months.
4. Auto Loan: Reduction of monthly payments by up to 50% for 3 months, with an extension of the repayment period by 3 months.
Assistance Measures for Business Customers
1. Existing Loan Amount: Moratorium on principal repayments, interest-only payments for up to 3 months.
2. Loan for Business Repairs: Maximum loan term of 5 years, 3.5% interest for the first 2 years, with a moratorium on principal repayments, interest-only payments for up to 3 months.
