Ms. Narumol Apornthanakul, Deputy Managing Director of Building Management at Plus Property Co., Ltd., revealed that under the Waste To Worth project, Plus has organized various activities to encourage resident participation, such as the “Sort and Exchange for Happiness” initiative, where residents sort waste at the source and can exchange it for eggs or other rewards. Additionally, recycling collection points have been established in the managed projects, along with training sessions on proper waste management. All these efforts help residents adjust their daily habits and recognize the importance of waste management from the source to protect the environment.

We have been continuously working on this for 5 years, during which we have reduced waste sent to landfills by 2,609 kilograms and decreased greenhouse gas emissions (Carbon Footprint) by up to 1,500 tons of CO2 equivalent, which is comparable to planting over 71,000 trees (on average per year). This reinforces our deeply rooted vision of balancing property management with sustainable environmental care.

With our ongoing commitment, Plus is ready to support the “This House Does Not Combine Waste” project of Bangkok by registering all residential projects under our management in the Bangkok area, allowing residents to benefit from reduced waste management fees. Furthermore, we play a crucial role in pushing the government’s environmental policies into tangible results. We also conduct training for staff in collaboration with the Bangkok Environmental Office regarding this project to ensure effective management and positive outcomes in all projects.

Plus is dedicated to creating a better living ecosystem, not only in terms of building and community management but also in caring for the surrounding environment. We believe that sustainability must arise from the cooperation of all parties, including organizations, residents, and surrounding communities. Additionally, this continues our sustainability strategy towards the goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
