Frasers Property Thailand has signed an MOU with UOB Bank Thailand to promote industrial investment in Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam, in response to the ongoing influx of investment into Southeast Asia. This collaboration aims to strengthen the growth of factory and warehouse businesses and elevate the region's role as a global industrial hub.

Mr. Pirapat Srisukont, Managing Director of the Industrial Real Estate Group at Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited (FPT), stated that Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) Limited, under FPT, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with UOB Bank Thailand to support investment in the industrial sector and provide financial facilitation for global operators looking to expand their investments in Southeast Asia. This will enhance FPT's strength in managing rental factories and warehouses in Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam, with over 3.77 million square meters under management. This initiative aligns with the company's business drive for this year under the concept of 'Strengthening Growth Through a Value-Focused Strategy in a Challenging Global Landscape,' following the Unlocking Value strategy to maximize portfolio potential through strategic asset management and partnerships to expand business growth opportunities.

This collaboration also supports the continuous flow of foreign direct investment (FDI) into Southeast Asia amidst global trade uncertainties. Southeast Asia is a highly potential region ready to accommodate investments. According to the UNCTAD World Investment Report 2025, the FDI inflow to Southeast Asia is projected to reach $225 billion in 2024, an increase of $20 billion from 2023.

Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) will provide comprehensive support for businesses looking to invest in industrial areas, including advice on policies, regulations, and various investment opportunities. Meanwhile, UOB Bank Thailand will offer a wide range of financial solutions, such as regulatory consulting, project financing, trade facilitation, and cash management services, leveraging its extensive regional banking network and expertise to support cross-border investments.
