Kasikornbank Initiates Eco-Friendly Marketing Structure Using Modular Booths as the First Bank Aiming for Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Kasikornbank is committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions across all dimensions, becoming the first bank to initiate a marketing activity structure using eco-friendly modular booths. These booths promote and support the innovation development of Thai people by utilizing PlasBrick, interlocking blocks made from recyclable plastic materials that can be reused and relocated without limitations. This material will be continuously used in the bank's marketing activities throughout the year to reduce waste, aligning with the bank's Zero Waste goal and reinforcing its commitment to developing services that care for the environment while providing sustainable value to customers.

Ms. Jitrawinee Wankorn, Assistant Managing Director of Kasikornbank, stated that Kasikornbank is dedicated to developing services that deliver trusted experiences and flexible solutions while considering sustainable management. Therefore, the bank has designed marketing activities that promote a collective effort for all sectors to Go Green Together, transitioning towards an environmentally friendly lifestyle and business. This leads to the initiation of a marketing activity structure using eco-friendly modular booths as the first bank, incorporating PlasBrick, which is produced from recycled plastic and features interlocking block designs, as the main material for the booth structure used in marketing exhibitions throughout the year 2025. This booth not only utilizes environmentally friendly and reusable materials in the long term but also meets the bank's needs for flexible customer engagement activities. The eco-friendly modular booth structure has three main advantages:

Environmental Friendliness: By using materials made from 100% recycled plastic, it helps reduce waste. The production process involves melting plastic waste and using injection coloring instead of spraying or painting, which prevents dust particles. If any parts are damaged or need color changes, only the necessary pieces can be remolded without needing to produce the entire structure anew, thus minimizing waste and reducing new production. Additionally, the lightweight, blocky shape allows for easier and more efficient transportation, reducing fuel consumption. As a reusable material, the bank can utilize the eco-friendly modular booth structure multiple times throughout the year, helping to reduce waste, which is part of the bank's Zero Waste goal, ultimately leading to a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions from related activities.

Time and Budget Efficiency: The block connection method is easy to assemble, allowing this structure to require significantly less labor and time for installation and dismantling compared to traditional materials. Additionally, once produced, it can be used for various bank booth opportunities, both indoor and outdoor, helping to save long-term budget.
Design Flexibility: The PlasBrick's block shape allows for versatile booth layouts, enabling adjustments to fit the customer service areas required for different activities.

Ms. Jitrawinee concluded that Kasikornbank continuously selects and develops booth structure materials to ensure cost-effective and practical solutions. It is the first bank to apply the patented PlasBrick innovation in real applications for exhibition booth structures, representing a pathway to environmental preservation while promoting and supporting the development of Thai innovation. The bank first utilized the eco-friendly modular booth structure at the Bangkok Financial Expo 2025 in May, where the booth received carbon neutrality certification from the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO). The bank will continue to use this structure in marketing activities throughout the year to drive the bank and Thailand towards the goal of net zero greenhouse gas emissions together.
