The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) is hosting its annual mega roadshow event, “Experience Macao”, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Macau's return to China. The event features 6 partners from Macau's comprehensive hotel and resort industry, promoting the concept of “Tourism +” alongside leading Thai agencies, including hotels, airlines, and other tourism sectors, offering attractive tour packages and promotional tickets, along with various activities over three full days from today until June 16, 2024, at CentralWorld shopping center.

The first day of the roadshow kicked off with popular BL series stars Te-Tawan Vihakrat and New-Thitipoom Techaapaikhun, also known as “Te-New”, who shared their impressions of the enchanting city of “Macau.” The event was hosted by “Bam Pitiphat Kootrakul”. Both stars participated in an activity decorating egg tarts, a famous pastry from Macau, and concluded with a special musical performance that thrilled the audience and fans who came to support them.

Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), officially opened the event, stating that the mega roadshow “Experience Macao” is being held for the second year to encourage Thai tourists, a key visitor group, to travel to Macau, whether for their first visit or a return trip. The response from Thai tourists has been very positive, as evidenced by the rapid return of Thai visitors to Macau. Last year, Thai tourists ranked among the top 10 nationalities visiting Macau, with 45 flights from Bangkok to Macau operating weekly. At the same time, Thailand is also the most popular travel destination for Macau residents.

This event is part of a promotional plan to boost Macau tourism under the concept of Tourism+, which combines tourism with Macau's unique offerings, including food, culture, sports, and technology, to create diverse products that cater to tourists of all lifestyles. Six integrated resort groups, including MGM, Galaxy, Wynn Macau, Melco, Sands, and SJM, along with representatives from the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and the Economic Development Bureau of Hengqin from China, participated in this roadshow.

The first floor of CentralWorld will be transformed from June 14 to 16 into an exhibition showcasing Macau's unique attractions, allowing Thai visitors to appreciate the city's beauty through various activities. These include a treasure hunt for Mak Mak, the official mascot of Macau tourism, fun AI Photo activities for attendees to pose with Macau backdrops for social media, an adrenaline-pumping Macau Grand Prix simulation, a VR Interactive viewpoint of Macau, and a sand art activity for children, making it a comprehensive event for all lifestyles.

Don't miss out on the fantastic tour packages and promotions, such as a buy one get one free flight ticket and special rates for five-star hotel stays available only at this event. Throughout the event, celebrities, artists, and influencers will add entertainment, including “Tor Sakdisith Vetchasupaporn”, who will showcase his soothing voice and share his experiences in Macau with “Mom Oh Thanaporn Vetchasupaporn” on Saturday, June 15. The event will conclude on Sunday, June 16, with renowned travel blogger “Wan Chai” from the channel “Asa Pa Pai Long,” sharing his experiences exploring every corner of Macau and presenting new and interesting tourist spots.
