Crocodile Corporation Co., Ltd., a leader in comprehensive construction innovation from foundation to roof for the happiness of every family, is driving forward its sustainability policy with clean energy by initiating the solar panel installation project in the factory and distribution center in Saraburi and at the company's headquarters in Bangkok. The total investment is 24 million baht, and the installation of all solar panels is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 606 tons of carbon per year, while replacing 30% of the company's total electricity consumption annually. This solar panel installation project reinforces the company's commitment to conducting business alongside environmental conservation. Crocodile aims to utilize clean energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in all operational processes to prepare for becoming a carbon-neutral organization, in line with the government's policy to lead Thailand towards carbon neutrality.

Mr. Supapong Phetsuthit, CEO of Crocodile Corporation Co., Ltd., stated, "As an expert in comprehensive construction innovation that meets diverse needs and aligns with new trends, we are committed to offering environmentally friendly quality products and focusing on sustainable business development to care for people's lives and the environment. The installation of solar panels at both the production factory and distribution center, as well as at Crocodile's headquarters, is another significant step in promoting the use of clean energy from nature that tangibly reduces greenhouse gas emissions. This project is part of our ongoing sustainability policy aimed at becoming a carbon-neutral organization, contributing to Thailand's Carbon Neutrality goals."

The solar panel installation at Crocodile's factory and headquarters involves a total investment of 24 million baht, with the first phase completed at the Crocodile factory in Saraburi, featuring an installation size of 103 kWp and an estimated annual electricity production of 91 MWh. There are three areas currently under installation, expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2024, including the second phase of the Saraburi factory, the distribution center in Saraburi, and Crocodile's headquarters on Bangkok-Krit Road. Rich Clean Energy Co., Ltd., part of the Siam Steel Group, is responsible for all ongoing installations. The solar panels will cover an area of 6,000 square meters, divided into 4,500 square meters in Saraburi and 1,500 square meters in Bangkok, with a total installation size of 975 kWp and an estimated total annual electricity production of 1,012 MWh, accounting for 30% of total electricity usage at the factory and office, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 606 tons of carbon per year," Mr. Supapong Phetsuthit explained.

Once completed by the end of the year, Crocodile's solar power project will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 606 tons of carbon per year, equivalent to the carbon absorption of over 60,000 trees within one year, representing 10% of all activities Crocodile undertakes to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

Crocodile is accelerating its sustainability policy in both business operations and product development under international standards, promoting innovations that are safe for users while caring for the planet. The company is also pushing the construction industry to create a more livable world by incorporating new technologies into the production processes and packaging that reduce resource waste and greenhouse gas emissions tangibly.
