BRI Reports 195% Growth in Q1/2024 Net Profit, Plans to Launch 2 New Detached and Twin House Projects in the West
Britania or BRI has achieved a net profit of over 296 million baht in Q1/2024, marking a 195% increase from the previous quarter. This growth follows the company's collaboration with new strategic partners on four housing development projects worth a total of 6.33 billion baht, which supports project management profits. In Q2/2024, the company plans to launch two new detached and twin house projects in the western part of Bangkok, valued at 3.25 billion baht, located in the Ratchaphruek-Westgate area, alongside ongoing marketing activities and a focus on cost management to maintain a gross profit margin of 30% across all economic conditions.

Mr. Teeradech Koetsamrang, Chief Executive Officer of Britania Public Company Limited (BRI), a leader in real estate development committed to sustainable housing for a better society, revealed that in Q1/2024 (January-March 2024), the company had total revenue of 1.269 billion baht and a net profit of 296 million baht, growing 195% from Q4/2023. This growth is attributed to the company's strategic partnerships with several new partners, including Pruksa Real Estate Public Company Limited, across four projects totaling 6.33 billion baht, including Grand Britania Nakorn-in, Grand Britania Thawiwattana, Britania Phetkasem 69, and Brighton Bangkruai-Sainoi.
“The overall economic situation in Q1/2024 may impact the real estate market, but we remain committed to various initiatives to maintain a gross profit margin of 30%. This includes improving cost and expense management efficiency, focusing on customers with strong financial health, and intensifying the screening of potential customers more than in previous years to ensure they can proceed to the transfer of ownership,” Mr. Teeradech stated.
Mr. Teeradech further mentioned that for Q2/2024, Britania plans to launch two new mixed-product projects of detached and twin houses in the western part of Bangkok, with a total project value of 3.25 billion baht, including:
- Britania Westgate with 346 units priced approximately 6-10 million baht, project value 2.6 billion baht.
- Britania Ratchaphruek 345 with 111 units priced approximately 5-7 million baht, project value 650 million baht.

“The western zone of Bangkok is a highly potential area, close to lifestyle centers, hospitals, and many leading educational institutions such as Central Westgate, Central Westville, and Denla Kindergarten. The transportation is convenient, and the demand for houses priced above 5 million baht remains strong to accommodate the new generation expanding their families. Previous projects by Britania in the western area have received a good response, prompting us to continue launching new projects primarily in the west,” Mr. Teeradech added.
For these two projects, the development will continue under the concept of CRAFT a life you love, emphasizing the best way to live in a way you love, incorporating the unique strengths of Britania homes to meet the needs of residents in western Bangkok. This includes developing English-style homes, carefully selecting architectural styles from various cities, spacious main gates, and clubhouses, designed with customer insights in mind to understand and cater to the lifestyles of multi-generational families living together, providing ample living space.
Additionally, in Q2/2024, the real estate market will benefit from stimulus measures implemented since April, including reducing the property transfer registration fee from 2% to 0.01%, and reducing the mortgage registration fee from 1% to 0.01% for properties with a sale price and appraised value not exceeding 7 million baht, and mortgage amounts not exceeding 7 million baht per contract. This is expected to encourage customers to decide to transfer ownership of residential projects more easily.
At the same time, the company has launched ongoing marketing campaigns to help consumers access residential projects more easily, such as the “Secret Promo Hot Rhythm” campaign, featuring selected hidden house units with special promotions, including townhomes, twin houses, and detached houses from the Belgravia, Grand Britania, Britania, and Brighton brands in Bangkok and surrounding areas, totaling 37 projects priced from 2.29 to 40 million baht*. Customers can enjoy special benefits such as a 2-night stay at a Phuket hotel, special low installments for 3 years*, free room decoration from WydE Interior*, and a comprehensive home care service package from Britania Craft Services worth 80,000 baht*. Additionally, customers can receive a generous Top-Up secret promotion with discounts and many freebies at the sales offices of all projects, simply by booking a house with ownership transfer from now until May 31, 2024. The company will continue to focus on efficient cost management to maintain a gross profit margin of 30% across all economic conditions.
As for Britania Public Company Limited (BRI), it is a housing developer under the concept of CRAFT a life you love, developing detached houses, new series homes, and townhomes to cover all consumer segments under five brands and segments, including:
