Mr. Olar Chanphu, President of the Home Builder Association (HBA)<\/strong> <\/span> stated that the overall home building business this year is expected to remain stable, following a total construction value of 12 billion baht from association members in 2023, which fell short of the target of 13.25 billion baht. This is primarily due to economic factors causing customers to delay decisions on new home construction, as well as rising interest rates and household debt issues, along with stricter lending policies from banks. The association has submitted a letter to the Prime Minister to consider a tax reduction policy of 10,000 baht per million for customers wishing to build homes on their own land. It is hoped that the government's economic policies will help stimulate the economy, including upcoming real estate stimulus measures, which are expected to lead to growth in the home building market compared to the previous six months.<\/span><\/span>

The association plans to actively promote and continue activities throughout 2024, focusing on raising awareness and expanding the membership base of home building companies in provincial areas by enhancing construction standards and providing reliable services, aiming to strengthen the association for sustainable growth.
