Supalai Teams Up with SCG Partners to Create 'Coral Homes' for Marine Ecosystem Restoration in Chonburi
Supalai Public Company Limited, in collaboration with SCG and partners in the 'Love the Sea' project, has introduced 'Coral Homes' made using CPAC 3D Printing Solution. This innovative approach utilizes leftover concrete from construction sites, which is processed and sorted through Supalai's project, to create a cement mixture. The structures are then transported by boat and installed underwater in the area around Koh Sak, Chonburi, with the aim of sustainably enhancing the marine ecosystem.

Mr. Traitecha Tangmattatham , Managing Director of Supalai Public Company Limited, revealed that since becoming a partner in the 'Love the Sea' project last July, the company has gained knowledge and understanding of the 'Coral Homes' innovation created using CPAC 3D Printing Solution. This technology is harmonious with nature and friendly to marine life. Supalai has recycled concrete waste from construction processes, using concrete test cubes from various projects in Chonburi as a substitute for limestone, allowing for the creation of 34 large coral reef bases. Once completed, these structures were placed underwater at Koh Sak, Chonburi, with the hope that the 'Coral Homes' initiative by Supalai will stimulate coral larval growth and restore balance to the coral reef ecosystem and marine life in Thailand sustainably.
Supalai operates its business alongside adhering to principles of good governance, including ethics, transparency, participation, and social responsibility, while considering environmental impacts in all dimensions. The company also embraces the concept of 'Built for Real Life - homes designed from real life,' which serves as a guiding principle for creating positive contributions. This allows the company and all stakeholders to collaborate in giving back to the world.
