PMT Property Appeals to Government Agencies for Guidance After Legal Proceedings Followed All Required Steps
Regarding the ruling in the case of The Met opposing the approval of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the 125 Sathorn project, PMT Property Co., Ltd. (PMTP), as the developer of the 125 Sathorn project, would like to clarify that the company is not the direct defendant in the case but is affected by the outcome of the case because the Central Administrative Court ruled that the calculation documents for the building area used to calculate the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of The Met project were incorrect.

Following this, PMTP received official confirmation documents from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) showing the building area used to calculate the FAR for The Met project. Confident in the accuracy of these calculations, the company used them to prepare the environmental impact study for the 125 Sathorn project in accordance with proper procedures. The committee of experts reviewing the environmental impact assessment for buildings, land allocation, and community management in Bangkok (Kohka) approved the EIA for the 125 Sathorn project. However, later on, the Central Administrative Court ruled that the building area used to calculate the FAR for The Met project was not the correct area for The Met, which affected the approval of the EIA for the 125 Sathorn project, including the construction, modification, or demolition permits.

Appealing for Understanding from All Parties, Confirming Legal Compliance
PMTP confirms that it has followed all legal procedures correctly in applying for construction permits for the 125 Sathorn project and EIA approvals. The company has also reviewed legal issues and received official letters confirming various information from responsible government agencies, resulting in the successful approval of all necessary permits.
