It is a model green smart city project that sets a new standard for smart technology aimed at sustainable environments, unveiling a vision of sustainability in every dimension through One Bangkok Immersive Pavilion. Everyone is invited to join special discussions on the topics “The Future of Sustainability and Smart City Living for Better Community” and “Masterplan Design for Smart Sustainable Cities” at the Sustainability Expo 2023 (SX 2023), the largest sustainability fair in ASEAN, taking place from October 2 - 8, 2023, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

Mr. Uraset Navanukroh, Chief Executive Officer of Investment Division, One Bangkok Project, stated that Frasers Property has continuously supported the Sustainability Expo 2023 for the fourth consecutive year as a private sector organization committed to creating environmental change with a goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. Thus, the One Bangkok project has been developed into a world-class real estate project that prioritizes sustainability in every aspect under the concept of The Heart of Bangkok, a city centered around the “heart” of its people, designed and developed from a vision focused on enhancing the quality of life and well-being for all, serving as a foundation and model city for other projects.

One Bangkok is a must-visit destination. This city features comprehensive office spaces, shopping venues that create new experiences, urban residences that blend elevated living values, unique hotels, world-class exhibition and event spaces, and cultural art hubs that inspire and add vibrancy, along with over 50 rai of open public spaces and green areas. It aims to be a smart city equipped with innovations to promote sustainable urban development, striving to be the first project in Thailand certified by the LEED for Neighborhood Development Platinum standard and WELL building standards for the health and well-being of residents and building users.

At the Sustainability Expo 2023, everyone will experience the One Bangkok Immersive Pavilion in the exhibition section of Frasers Property, the developer of One Bangkok, which will present a unique experience through an Immersive Experience exhibition that allows attendees to vividly visualize the components and areas of the One Bangkok project, along with showcasing advanced technologies and innovations for sustainability implemented in the project to minimize environmental impact.

Smart Technologies

Introducing the Central Utility Plant (CUP), the heart of One Bangkok, a state-of-the-art centralized utility building that integrates all systems in one place for efficient management and operation of the project, ensuring a complete response to the needs of all residents 24 hours a day.

With a District Command Center staffed to monitor, manage, and collaborate with the Smart Estate platform alongside advanced AI systems for optimal management of water and electricity usage in the project, over 250,000 smart sensors and more than 5,000 CCTV cameras are installed to monitor and record data in real-time for security efficiency, as well as a Traffic Control system to monitor and report traffic conditions within the project. Additionally, there are Smart Poles that provide lighting and distribute high-speed internet signals throughout the area.

One Bangkok is a project that excels in connectivity through smart technology, covering all areas, and is the first project in Thailand to receive WiredScore Platinum certification, the highest standard from WiredScore, reinforcing users' confidence in digital connectivity.

Sustainable Development

One Bangkok has been developed in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs of the United Nations, incorporating smart technologies for energy efficiency and environmental friendliness, such as:

Electric Power Saver - a backup electricity storage system for 24-hour use, managing electricity consumption for maximum efficiency.

District Cooling System - a centralized air conditioning system to enhance energy delivery efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Smart Water Management - a circular water management system that can monitor water quality and utilize wastewater treatment technologies for maximum benefit.

Construction Waste Management - aiming to recycle over 75% of construction waste, such as using technology to crush concrete waste from piles to create building walls and using leftover lightweight bricks from construction to produce soundproof panels in the project's underpass.

Food Waste Management - technology that transforms food waste into fertilizer through a Food Waste Composter, and the use of a Smart Compactor that reduces space and enhances hygiene in waste storage, maintaining environmental conditions and creating sanitation, helping to reduce waste by up to 6,700 tons per year and cutting carbon emissions by 12,000 tons per year, equivalent to the oxygen production of 160,000 trees annually.

Unparalleled Experiences in One Bangkok

Providing a high quality of life and unique experiences with over 50 rai of open and green spaces, accounting for nearly half of the total project area, designed as a relaxation point in the city and a recreational area, including a Linear Park that stretches 35 to 45 meters wide from the sidewalk to the project entrance, situated between Lumpini Park and Benjakitti Park. Additionally, there are convenient and spacious walkways allowing access to all areas of the project within just 15 minutes, aligning with the 15-Minute City concept, a new trend in urban development that prioritizes the quality of life of its residents.

Moreover, there is an Art Loop around the project spanning over 2 kilometers, connecting public art pieces as a space for learning and creativity for everyone.

With all these elements, One Bangkok stands as a smart city equipped with innovations to promote sustainable urban development, aiming to be the first project in Thailand certified by the LEED for Neighborhood Development Platinum standard and WELL building standards for the health and well-being of residents and building users.
