Mr. Pipit Enaknit, Managing Director of Kasikorn Bank , stated that Kasikorn Bank is a digital technology-driven organization committed to leveraging its digital expertise to support Thailand's capability development amidst the challenges posed by technology that is transforming various industries. According to the World Economic Forum's report, The Future of Jobs, by 2025, over 50% of employees worldwide will need to reskill to adapt to the technologies that will play a role in the future. Additionally, data from Amazon Web Services indicates that 90% of organizations in Thailand require personnel with digital skills, and 93% of trained personnel have increased promotion opportunities. Furthermore, it is found that workers using digital skills in Thailand can generate over 1 trillion baht in income.
Therefore, Kasikorn Bank has initiated the SKILLKAMP project to support its target group: new workers, both those studying and working directly in digital and technology fields, as well as those not directly involved but interested in self-development to create growth opportunities in their professions. The bank has designed workshops in collaboration with the SEEN platform from BASE Playhouse, a startup specializing in learning process design, and has partnered with leading businesses and technology experts, including Ascend, KASIKORN Line, Rise, Storylog, and ThaiBev, to offer courses focused on developing digital skills in five high-demand professions: 1) Business Analyst 2) Data Analytics and Visualization 3) Front-End Developer 4) Performance Marketing 5) Web Developer. The project has received positive feedback, with over 2,800 applicants and 45 finalists given the opportunity to present their digital business models to the aforementioned leading companies.

Mr. Methawin Pitipornwivat, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Co-Founder of BASE Playhouse, stated that BASE Playhouse and Kasikorn Bank are leveraging their strengths to develop this project tailored for the new generation. The bank partners with leading companies and has channels to disseminate valuable information to the new workforce, while BASE Playhouse offers the SEEN platform, built on the belief that meaningful learning arises when individuals understand their strengths and weaknesses to create a personalized learning path. SEEN is a platform that accurately assesses abilities, covering both hard skills and soft skills necessary for various professions, with a fraud prevention system. The SKILLKAMP project will provide a space for the new generation to fully showcase their potential in their respective fields.
Recently, the SKILLKAMP project has built on its success by launching a platform that aggregates courses for future skills needed in the labor market on the websiteWWW.SKILLKAMP.COM offering over 250 free digital courses from 14 leading online course developers, including 9Expert, BorntoDev, ConicleX, DataRockie, FutureSkill, HACKaTHAILAND, Klasssi, LINE Developers Thailand, PrasertCBS, SkillLane, Thai MOOC, ThaiWinner, WeStride, and Zinglecode. The website features a quality course screening process, providing recommendations for personalized learning paths that meet individual learners' needs, as well as knowledge exchange and feedback from experienced individuals in various formats, helping save time and ensuring searches align with specific requirements. In the future, there will be an analysis of learners' behaviors leading to the identification of quality personnel ready to work with the bank and its affiliated companies.
Mr. Pipit concluded by stating that the bank believes participants in the SKILLKAMP courses will gain both knowledge and valuable experiences that can be applied in their current jobs, as well as further develop skills to enhance their career opportunities. Additionally, this project will assist entrepreneurs, especially small and medium-sized businesses looking for technology personnel for business development or digital transformation, to access quality personnel with the right qualifications to be a vital force in driving their businesses forward and contributing to the economy of Thailand in the future business landscape.

Ms. Paveenuch Thananu Sak (Yuu), a 4th-year student at the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, said, “I decided to join the SKILLKAMP project because I am interested in developing skills in Performance Marketing. I found it challenging to experiment and develop skills I enjoy.”
Mr. Kantikorn Sorasuwiriyawong (Phet), a 1st-year vocational student in Computer Software Development, said, “SKILLKAMP is an open project that does not limit applicants based on their knowledge or experience. The participating companies are interesting in the field, so I applied. After advancing to the Business Case round, I received excellent mentorship from experts. If this project continues, I would encourage friends interested in these fields to apply, as it is a great opportunity to gain real experience and develop oneself for a career in technology.”
Ms. Nattani Cha Thanapunyanan (Aiko), a 3rd-year student at the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, said, “I am currently looking for an internship and am unsure what to choose.
