“Khaohasukhpracha Public Company Limited” collaborates with “Charoen Pokphand Group” to sign a memorandum of understanding for the "Roi Riang Kwam Dee Initiative" to jointly develop the rental housing project “Khaohasukhpracha” which provides housing and promotes livelihoods, as well as improving the quality of life for vulnerable households, led by Charoen Pokphand Group, Charoen Pokphand Produce Co., Ltd., and Chef Cares Project Co., Ltd.

Mr. Pisanupon Uthakaphan, CEO of Khaohasukhpracha Public Company Limited, revealed that the “rental housing with livelihood” project has gained widespread interest, especially among the “vulnerable households”, which are the main target group of this initiative. This project provides a significant opportunity to improve their lives through stable housing and employment. Therefore, today's mission is not only about creating rental housing with livelihoods but also involves several large projects currently underway under the Khaohasukhpracha name, including the Khaohasukhpracha Chaloke Krung Project, Khaohasukhpracha Romklao Project, Sustainable Agriculture Project in Rayong, a pilot model market of 6 rai, training programs, and many others, particularly focusing on six main occupations: Agriculture, Livestock, Market, Services, Retail and Wholesale Trade, and Small Industries.

To achieve the objectives of the project, Khaohasukhpracha has signed a cooperation agreement with Charoen Pokphand Group under the "Roi Riang Kwam Dee Initiative" to jointly develop the rental housing project “Khaohasukhpracha” which provides housing and promotes livelihoods while improving the quality of life for vulnerable households, led by Charoen Pokphand Group, Charoen Pokphand Produce Co., Ltd., and Chef Cares Project Co., Ltd..

The “Roi Riang Kwam Dee Initiative” aims to develop various rental housing projects according to the specified guidelines, providing housing with livelihoods for eligible target groups while considering development strategies and promoting livelihoods as well as other aspects of quality of life for the target population, suitable for the location and environment, and supporting the development and promotion of livelihoods according to the jointly defined strategies, ranging from short-term to long-term projects, such as training in agricultural knowledge, supporting coffee planting and agricultural processing, selecting youth to participate in the job creation project, and conducting study visits to various projects.

On the other hand, Mr. Jomkit Sirikul, Senior Executive Vice President of Government Relations and Sustainability Development at Charoen Pokphand Group and Secretary of the Charoen Pokphand Foundation for Rural Development, stated that Charoen Pokphand Group adheres to the philosophy of three benefits, conducting business with the nation's and people's interests in mind, and is committed to giving back to the land. The signing of the memorandum for the “Roi Riang Kwam Dee Initiative” is a key mission for Charoen Pokphand Group to improve the quality of life for tenants of “Khaohasukhpracha” by providing diverse employment opportunities, leading to better living conditions both physically and mentally, with the involvement of companies within the Charoen Pokphand Group, led by Charoen Pokphand Group, Charoen Pokphand Produce Co., Ltd., and Chef Cares Project Co., Ltd..

The collaboration in the “Roi Riang Kwam Dee Initiative” will continue with activities including visits to the Jia Tai Seed Research and Development Station in Kanchanaburi by Jia Tai Co., Ltd. to study agricultural innovations, and visits to the Slang Phan Crop Farm Project in Saraburi by Charoen Pokphand Produce Co., Ltd. Previously, future projects will be divided into three phases: short-term, medium-term, and long-term projects, such as studying the coffee production and processing process and developing it into a tourist attraction, studying the Rural Development Foundation, studying the chicken egg farming project for school lunches, studying elderly care professions, selecting youth for job creation projects, the Khaohasukhpracha Kitchen by Chef Cares, co-designing storytelling, purchasing food ingredients from the Khaohasukhpracha community, and creating products from local ingredients, including menus for the elderly, among others.
