Currently, the National Housing Authority is implementing the "Din Daeng Community Urban Renewal Project Phase 1" by constructing "Building G," the first residential building. Residents from Flats 18-22 have successfully moved in for over five years now, and construction is underway for Phase 2 of the Din Daeng Community Urban Renewal Project, which includes Buildings A1 and D1, totaling 1,247 units.

Mr. Thaveepong Wichaidit, Governor of the National Housing Authority, revealed that Phase 1 of the Din Daeng Community Urban Renewal Project (Building G) is a 28-story building with 33 square meter rooms, fully equipped with amenities that cater to the lifestyle of the Din Daeng community. It features green spaces, recreational areas, and a health center, and the rooftop includes a vegetable garden for consumption and sale, providing income for those who maintain the garden and funds for purchasing additional seeds to expand the project.

Mr. Samai Saengchat, Chairman of the Din Daeng Community Urban Renewal Project Phase 1 (Building G), shared that Building G houses a total of 333 families, serving as a model community that relocated from a five-story flat. There are 13 committee members managing the community, coordinating with various agencies. Additionally, there is a sub-group called the "Sufficiency Agriculture Volunteer Group" that engages in organic vegetable gardening on the 28th-floor rooftop, fostering community participation, unity, and helping to reduce living costs. The "Recycling Waste Separation Group" was established to minimize waste in the community and instill a saving discipline among members, currently holding approximately 50,000 baht in their fund, which serves as community welfare to assist members during illness or bereavement.

Moreover, there is a "Job Creation Group" that coordinates with various agencies, such as the Ministry of Labor, to enhance job opportunities for community members, especially the elderly. Various activities are organized for the elderly, including group exercises, evening prayers, recreational activities, and karaoke every Sunday, ensuring that people of all ages can participate in improving their quality of life. "Since moving to Building G, everyone's quality of life has significantly improved in terms of safety and participation. There is coordination and problem-solving between the National Housing Authority and the community committee, managing the community like a typical condominium referred to as the 'Community Management Office,' learning from past experiences to develop a sharing society that emphasizes mutual care for safety and property, allowing the community to thrive sustainably," Mr. Samai emphasized.

Therefore, I would like to reach out to parents and siblings in phases 2, 3, and 4, that Building G is a pilot project of the Din Daeng Community Urban Renewal Project. Everyone has been living here for five years now, and the quality of life has greatly improved thanks to the care from the National Housing Authority. I can assure you that the management system here is excellent, with organized living conditions, cleanliness, functional elevators, and a pleasant environment free of litter. Everyone in the community collaborates, making Building G feel like a home with strong foundations and stability, leading to many positive outcomes. Nowadays, community members enjoy a comfortable life, living in affordable housing with million-dollar views, and having neighbors who coexist harmoniously. All of this is possible because we started with an open mind and took action together," Mr. Samai reiterated.
