Vision Unveiled by the New President of the Home Builder Association "Olan Janphu" announced the 2023 strategies to lead the organization towards becoming the national standard for professional home building, enhancing the capabilities of member companies for sustainable growth, and fully embracing digital platforms. The aim is to expand membership across all regions of the country and raise awareness among consumers, targeting top performance to overcome business challenges and economic recession.
Mr. Olan Janphu, President of the Home Builder Association (HBA) revealed his vision for 2023, stating his readiness to drive strong growth for the association during his three-year term (2023-2025) with three main strategies. The first is to elevate the standards of the home building business to be recognized and trusted nationally, while supporting members to grow sustainably, propelling the association to become a leading organization in the country.
Additionally, there is a strong focus on reinforcing confidence to ensure the association occupies a place in the hearts of consumers, as well as supporting the development of member capabilities for stable and sustainable growth.
The next strategy will focus on advancing the digital platform to encompass all dimensions and keep pace with current situations, enhancing marketing opportunities for members and promoting the association's image more broadly. This includes expanding collaborations with both public and private partners and increasing the membership base to cover all regions of the country, all of which are factors that strengthen the association for true sustainable growth.
On this occasion, as he takes on the role of president for the term 2023-2025, he is fully prepared to carry on the management of the association with a commitment to continue the goals and drive the home building business further, even though 2023 will still face challenges from various factors and significant economic uncertainty.
"Taking on the mission to drive the association this time comes with a three-year work agenda, and I will dedicate my efforts to continue the strong growth achieved by the association in 2022, despite the economic slowdown and the pandemic," he stated.
In 2022, the home building business had a total market value of 12.5 billion baht, growing by 9% from the previous year, reflecting the strong demand for residential construction among consumers. It is believed that the home building market in 2023 will continue to expand, as consumers are increasingly aware of and confident in the services provided by home building companies. The market value is expected to reach 13.25 billion baht, an increase of 6% from 2022.
For the goal of expanding the membership base in 2023, the association aims to increase the number of members of all types by at least 10% from the current total of 135 members.
Notably, Mr. Olan Janphu is one of the new generation executives with over 20 years of experience in the home building business. He is a co-founder and managing director of Advance Home Co., Ltd., committed to bringing knowledge, expertise, and skills to drive the Home Builder Association towards becoming a strong and stable leader in the national professional home building market.
