Olar Chanphu, the newly elected president of the Home Builder Association (HBA), has revealed his vision for 2023, outlining strategies to lead the organization towards becoming a national leader in professional home construction standards. The aim is to enhance the capabilities of member companies for sustainable growth while fully embracing digital platforms. The goal is to expand the membership base across all regions of the country and raise awareness among consumers, with a target of achieving top performance to overcome business and economic challenges.

Olar Chanphu, President of the Home Builder Association (HBA), has disclosed his vision for 2023, stating that he is ready to drive strong growth for the association during his three-year term (2023-2025) with three main strategies. The first strategy focuses on elevating the standards of the home construction business to be recognized and trusted at the national level while supporting members to grow sustainably, propelling the association to become a leading organization in the country.
Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on building trust and confidence to ensure that the association occupies a place in the hearts of consumers, as well as supporting the development of members' capabilities for stable and sustainable growth.
The next strategy will focus on advancing towards a comprehensive digital platform that aligns with current market conditions to enhance marketing opportunities for members and promote the association's image more broadly. This includes expanding collaboration with both public and private sector partners and increasing the membership base to cover all regions of the country. All of these factors will strengthen the association for true sustainable growth.
As he takes on the role of president for the term 2023-2025, Olar Chanphu is fully prepared to continue managing the association with a commitment to pursue its goals and drive the home construction business to new heights, despite facing numerous challenges and significant economic uncertainties in 2023.
“Taking on the mission to drive the association forward comes with a three-year work agenda, and I will dedicate my full efforts to continue the strong growth achieved by the association in 2022, even amidst economic slowdown and the pandemic,”
In 2022, the home construction business had a total market value of 12.5 billion baht, growing by 9% from the previous year, reflecting a strong demand for residential construction among consumers. It is believed that the home construction market in 2023 will continue to expand, as consumers increasingly recognize and trust the services of home construction companies. The market value is expected to reach 13.25 billion baht, an increase of 6% from 2022.
For the goal of expanding the membership base in 2023, the association aims to increase the number of members of all types by at least 10% from the current total of 135 members.
Notably, Olar Chanphu is a new generation executive with over 20 years of experience in the home construction business. He is one of the founders and serves as managing director of Advance Home Co., Ltd., and is committed to bringing knowledge, expertise, and skills to drive the Home Builder Association towards becoming a strong and stable leader in the national home construction market.
