Collaborating with the government, private sector partners, riverside hotels, and the community, ICONSIAM aims to create a grand global countdown event once again with Amazing Thailand Countdown 2023, positioning Thailand as a landmark “Global Countdown Destination” and captivating everyone with a spectacular eco-friendly fireworks display lighting up the most beautiful bend of the Chao Phraya River, hoping to bring happiness and hope back to the hearts of Thai people and the world.

Under the strategy of collaborating with all sectors (Collaborate to Win), ICONSIAM is preparing a grand year-end campaign themed “ICONSIAM Magical Enchanted Celebration” to create a joyful atmosphere for Thai people and welcome tourists from around the world, with a budget of over 200 million baht for 20 major events and marketing campaigns throughout December.

Mr. Supachai further stated, “In the fourth quarter, especially in November and December 2022, which coincides with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings and the year-end celebrations, it is anticipated that Thailand can attract more than 2 million investors and tourists, generating over 20 billion baht in circulation. ICONSIAM will be a key player in accelerating the recovery of our domestic trade economy. We believe that the marketing plans set for these last two months will help revitalize business along the Chao Phraya River during the season, and we are confident that we can attract both Thai customers and tourists, both Thai and foreign, to continuously circulate in this area, with expectations of reaching 100,000 to 130,000 visitors per day by the end of 2022.

This event has previously been broadcast to the world through social media and global news agencies such as CNN, BBC, AP, Reuters, ABC, etc., with worldwide admiration for the beauty of the New Year's Eve celebration on the Chao Phraya River, the heart of the Thai people, which is a national landmark that has brought global recognition to Thailand.
