REDPAPER presents insights and trends in real estate, supported by Frasers Property (Thailand) in collaboration with Numbers 10 Research, revealing 6 work trends that employees from various generations in the Post-COVID era desire. These trends emphasize the importance of 'balance' and 'value' in various aspects of life, including the preferred office and workspace designs that can entice employees to return to the office 100%. Key considerations include green spaces, flexible working hours, and locations that are convenient for commuting, close to BTS and MRT stations, as well as lifestyle hubs, to maintain a harmonious work-life balance.

REDPAPER's third report titled “Post-COVID Office Trends: Reviving Employee Energy - Challenges Employers Must Address Before It's Too Late” is produced by Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited (FPT), the first comprehensive real estate developer in Thailand, in collaboration with Numbers 10 Research. This study explores work trends and office atmospheres that meet the needs and lifestyles of employees across all age groups after an extended period of working from home. The survey results indicate that over 71% of workers want to return to the office full-time, highlighting various work trends that have shifted since the pre-COVID world, which now influence job selection decisions.

REDPAPER reveals the demands of employees today, who prioritize 'balance' and 'value' in all aspects of life, both professional and personal. This is reflected in 6 key work desires: 1. Stress-free work, 2. Career advancement, 3. Achieving work-life balance, 4. Opportunities for upskilling and reskilling, 5. Convenient commuting and comprehensive workplace amenities, and 6. Time for family. Organizations can enhance their environments to motivate the workforce in the Post-COVID era by selecting quality office buildings located in accessible areas, providing a positive office atmosphere, and creating relaxation spaces to alleviate work-related stress. Additionally, emphasis should be placed on developing knowledge, skills, and new working methods to improve employee efficiency and job satisfaction.

Furthermore, REDPAPER highlights 5 essential elements that office workers seek in their workplaces: 1. Green spaces to enhance the atmosphere and improve air quality, 2. Flexible office work policies that do not impose rigid working hours, allowing for adaptable entry and exit times, 3. Dining areas for convenience and relaxation during the day, 4. Open spaces that allow for seating preferences, creating a pleasant working environment and freedom in workspace selection, and 5. Clearly defined areas for effective work.

This survey reflects that employees of all ages in the Post-COVID era place greater importance on two main factors: 1. Office environment and 2. Office location, to create balance in their lives and maintain the lifestyle they enjoyed during the Work From Home period. It indicates that employees are increasingly inclined to choose organizations that can meet their work-related needs, especially among Gen Z, who are just entering the workforce and will play a crucial role in organizations' futures. Therefore, to attract and retain New Gen Talent, companies should prioritize these two aspects to foster growth in a changing work landscape.
