LPP Signs Agreement with the Office of the Vocational Education Commission to Collaborate on Professional Development under the First Vocational Education Management Cooperation Project
Ms. Somsri Techakraisri, Managing Director of LPP Property Management Co., Ltd., and the Office of the Vocational Education Commission signed a memorandum of understanding for the "First Vocational Education Management Cooperation Project for Higher Vocational Certificate (HVC) for the 2023 Academic Year." The project aims to accept students from the dual education system for vocational training to create and develop personnel in the vocational education sector under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, equipping them with knowledge and skills to enhance their potential and effectiveness in future careers.
“LPP Property Management, a provider of comprehensive real estate project management services tailored to meet the needs of all business types, is backed by a team of specialists with a proven track record of managing over 200 projects, including condominiums, residential properties, shopping centers, and commercial buildings, supported by L.P.N. Development Public Company Limited. We are very pleased to contribute to education for the youth, helping to advance their professional skills,” said Ms. Somsri.
For the dual vocational education management cooperation project between educational institutions and enterprises, participants must be learners in the dual education system (for at least two semesters), be students of institutions under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Ministry of Education, and be employed as trainees in enterprises where they can gain practical experience continuously until they achieve proficiency in their work and acquire real-world experience in their profession.
The Office of the Vocational Education Commission highlighted the benefits that students will gain from this project: “Professional experience aligned with their field of study will foster self-development and increase self-confidence, enhance communication skills in reporting information, and allow them to choose jobs that match their strengths. Additionally, they will receive compensation while studying, which is crucial for enhancing their potential and readiness, leading to opportunities for job offers before graduation.”
This cooperation project fosters academic collaboration and relationships with enterprises, providing feedback to improve teaching curricula. Importantly, it helps elevate educational institutions and students to be recognized by those enterprises.
Moreover, it creates a network of cooperation with educational agencies for enterprises in terms of producing and developing a workforce that meets the competencies required by businesses. It also promotes participatory processes to develop a network of human resources, enhancing knowledge in planning and managing resources appropriately for all sectors. This is a strategic plan for future human resources, ensuring that enterprises have employees with qualifications that meet organizational needs. Furthermore, it supports and encourages an increase in the number of vocational education learners to meet demand and enhance competitiveness within the ASEAN community.
