PPS has announced its financial results for the first half of 2022, showing a remarkable profit growth of 444.2% with revenue reaching 203.31 million baht. The business outlook for Q3/2022 is positive, with continuous revenue recognition and a rebranding effort from a consulting engineer to an Engagement Agency, focusing on developing technology that meets the needs of the real estate and construction sectors comprehensively, expanding the scope of work, and increasing opportunities for sustainable revenue.

Dr. Pongthorn Tharachaichai, CEO of Project Planning Service Public Company Limited (PPS) revealed that for the first half of 2022, the company achieved total revenue of 203.31 million baht, an increase of 18.23 million baht or 9.85% from the same period last year, which had total revenue of 185.08 million baht. The net profit was 7.51 million baht, up from a net loss of 1.38 million baht in the previous year, representing a growth of 444.2%.

In Q2/2022, the company reported total revenue of 106.05 million baht, an increase of 9.25 million baht or 9.56% from the same period last year, which had total revenue of 96.80 million baht. The net profit was 8.30 million baht, up from 3.80 million baht in the previous year, marking an increase of 118%.

The company's improved performance in both revenue and profit is attributed to increased revenue recognition from short-term project management in the private sector, allowing for quicker project delivery. Additionally, the company has effectively managed expenses and controlled operational costs according to the plan implemented continuously since last year.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2022, the business outlook is promising, with expectations to gradually recognize revenue from major projects in both the public and private sectors that are ongoing. Furthermore, the company is planning for the long term, focusing on rebranding from a consulting engineer to an Engagement Agency, acting as a mediator between project owners, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient construction management through data collection technology, resulting in successful outcomes from the collaboration of all parties involved in PPS projects.

“The company is committed to developing technology to create services that meet the needs of the real estate and construction industries comprehensively, expanding the scope of work for existing and new clients, and increasing opportunities for continuous revenue growth in the future,” Dr. Pongthorn stated.
