Mr. Jirasak Techathaveekul, Head of the Working Solution Division at SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited (SC), received 2 Quality Office Building Awards at the 6th MEA ENERGY AWARDS from Mr. Wilas Chaleysat, Governor of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), under the project promoting energy efficiency improvements in buildings, held at MEA Headquarters in Klongtoey, Bangkok.

The awards received include:

1. Energy Saving Building Symbol Award for Shinawatra Tower 3 and SC Tower.

2. Excellent Indoor Air Quality Building Symbol Award for Shinawatra Tower 3 and SC Tower.

The criteria for the project include the MEA Index (Management of Energy Achievement Index), which measures energy usage developed by MEA, and the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessment criteria. For this project, MEA collaborated with King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) as a consultant to establish the evaluation standards for the MEA ENERGY AWARDS. The objective is to encourage building owners to effectively conserve energy, create a network of energy-saving buildings under MEA, which will help enhance the stability of the country's electricity supply, reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere, and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 in line with national policy frameworks.
