They have launched a new company, Health and Wellness Venture Co., Ltd., with a 50:50 partnership to dive into the comprehensive health and wellness business, aiming to meet all health-related needs and align with the growing wellness industry trend. This initiative aims to position Thailand as a world-class medical and wellness destination.

The health business has been growing steadily against global trends. Recently, the Global Wellness Institute (GWI) projected that by 2025, the global health economy will reach 230 trillion baht. Thailand is also pushing to become a world medical tourism hub as part of its national development strategy from 2017 to 2026. According to the International Healthcare Research Center, Thailand ranked 5th globally as a health tourism destination in 2020-2021, prompting many companies to see opportunities for expansion into the health and wellness industry to foster strong growth.

Munkong Co., with its experience and expertise in health service provision, has developed the RAKxa project, a holistic health and medical integration center launched in 2020 in partnership with Vitalife, a subsidiary of Bumrungrad Hospital, which specializes in modern medical technology.
