Explore 5 New Check-in Spots in the Sathorn - Chan - Rama 3 Area That Cater to Every Lifestyle
When discussing the potential of the Sathorn - Chan - Rama 3 area, the common image that comes to mind is a hub of commerce, renowned restaurants, and one of Bangkok's traditional communities. This area is also densely populated and serves as a major business center connecting several key roads, including Sathorn, Silom, Charoenkrung, Sathupradit, and Rama 3. The location is easily accessible and convenient, equipped with comprehensive public utilities and amenities such as educational institutions, office buildings, residential condominiums, hospitals, shopping malls, and more.
In the past 1-2 years (2021-2022), there have been five noteworthy projects that are set to become new landmarks in this area, including Terminal 21 Rama 3, Klong Chong Nonsi Park, Makro Chan Road, Thana Astra Sathorn - Chan, and the BTS Saint Louis Station.
The first location is Terminal 21 Rama 3, a large, newly opened shopping center located on a 15-rai riverside plot on Rama 3 Road, near the BRT Charoenrat station. With a total land value exceeding 10 billion baht, it is set to open in 2022. There is no denying that Terminal 21 Rama 3 will be a significant magnet for attracting investments in upcoming projects.

Next is the second check-in spot, Klong Chong Nonsi Park, which is the first canal park in Thailand, modeled after the Cheonggyecheon Stream in Seoul, South Korea. This park features a design that includes walking paths along both sides of the canal, relaxation areas, jogging paths, cycling routes, and exercise equipment, making it a green space in the heart of Bangkok that supports modern lifestyles.
The third location is Makro Chan Road, a new food service that opened in January 2022, which has received enthusiastic responses from customers across all demographics, providing access to fresh food products and quality consumer goods for members and small retail operators, restaurants, hotels, catering businesses, etc. The arrival of Makro on Chan Road not only serves as a wholesale center for professional operators with the slogan "Your Business Partner" but also helps generate income for the surrounding community.
Finally, the fifth location is BTS Saint Louis Station (S4), the first additional BTS station built on the existing Silom Line. The station is located between Chong Nonsi and Surasak stations on Sathorn Road, at the mouth of Soi Sathorn 11 (or Soi Saint Louis 3). Surrounding the station are large office buildings, hospitals, condominiums, and numerous educational institutions.
