Asiatique The Riverfront invites everyone to countdown to the New Year at the 'ASIATIQUE Thailand Countdown 2022', reinforcing its position as a leading landmark for countdown celebrations, delivering joy with a spectacular fireworks display along the Chao Phraya River, designed by a world champion Thai fireworks designer.

'Asiatique The Riverfront', a lifestyle tourism hub along the Chao Phraya River, managed by Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), invites you to experience a special atmosphere as we countdown to the New Year with a magnificent fireworks display on December 31, 2021, at Asiatique Park, in a New Normal format. This event reaffirms its status as a grand countdown landmark and a significant tourist destination along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok and Thailand.

Mr. Pheem Liwlum, Head of Retail Group at Asset World Corp Public Company Limited, revealed that the Asiatique The Riverfront project is ready to showcase fireworks along the Chao Phraya River under the theme 'From Dusk till Dawn: Witness the Last Light of the Year and Welcome the First Light of the New Year'. Join us in celebrating the countdown at 'ASIATIQUE Thailand Countdown 2022' with an atmosphere along the Chao Phraya River, recognized as a Thailand Countdown Destination for celebrating the New Year's Eve festival, renowned worldwide. The sky above the most beautiful bend of the Chao Phraya will be illuminated with vibrant colors from the grand countdown fireworks display, symbolizing love (Love), prosperity (Prosperous), and happiness (Happiness), to inspire hope and joy for viewers both domestically and globally. The fireworks show will be controlled by Thai fireworks designer, Mr. Sarawut Taisap, a member of the Pyro 2000 team, world champions from the UK, who will present a spectacular fireworks display divided into three acts:

Act 1: Delivering Love (Love) - Heart-shaped fireworks symbolize love and care, sending encouragement to one another.
Act 2: Prosperity (Prosperous) - Golden fireworks symbolize wealth and prosperity.
Act 3: Happiness (Happiness) - Colorful and diverse fireworks symbolize the delivery of joy, fun, and hope, welcoming the New Year 2022.

“For COVID-19 prevention measures, the event organizers have elevated safety standards to the highest level in preparation to welcome everyone under the SHA Plus standard to prevent the spread of COVID-19. There will be a limit on the number of attendees, hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue, and participants must register via the Thai Chana application, show proof of vaccination, wear masks at all times, and maintain social distancing. All staff and organizers must undergo ATK testing within 72 hours and have a negative result, as well as a certificate of full vaccination (two doses) to be allowed to work,” Ms. Chatchanok stated.
