SC Alpha Inc. Invests $100 Million to Expand Investment Portfolio, Recently Increasing Investment in PRM Fund V with Over 1,500 Apartment Units
SC Alpha Inc. (a subsidiary of SC Asset) is set to invest $100 million in real estate in the U.S. over the next three years, announcing two apartments in Boston with a rental rate as high as 93%. Recently, the company has increased its investment in PRM Fund V, which focuses on over 1,500 apartment units across five cities.

Recently, it invested $7.5 million in PRM Fund V to support its real estate investment expansion in the U.S.
PRM Fund V is a closed-end fund managed by Panther Residential Management LLC (PRM) and its affiliated companies. The fund began raising capital in September 2021, and the funds raised have already been partially invested in U.S. real estate, with full investment expected by 2022.
The PRM Fund V aims to invest in over 1,500 apartment units across five cities. Recently, it invested in 289 units in Orlando, Florida, last October, and is preparing to close a deal for Tymber Creek Village, comprising 311 units in Daytona Beach, Florida, on November 1.
Founded in 2009 in Boston, Panther Residential Management LLC (PRM) and its affiliates are involved in comprehensive real estate investment, including development and management, primarily in the southeastern U.S. and other attractive markets in the country.
Currently, PRM has invested in 9,337 apartment units across seven states in the U.S., covering over 36 communities, with a transaction value exceeding $2.17 billion. The average Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 23.72% per year. SC Alpha Inc.'s investment in PRM Fund V aims for an IRR close to that of PRM over an investment period of about five years.

Including the investment in PRM Fund V, the company has already utilized $32 million in accumulated investments.”
