The Board of Directors of Kasikorn Bank has appointed Ms. Kattiya Indaravijaya as the Chief Executive Officer of Kasikorn Bank, making her the first female CEO of the bank and the first person not from the Lamsam family. This appointment is effective from April 3, 2020. Following the 108th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, Mr. Bandhur Lamsam has resigned from his position as a director and chairman of Kasikorn Bank, effective from April 3, 2020. The board has resolved to appoint Ms. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, the independent vice-chairman, as the acting chairman. If approved by the Bank of Thailand, she will be the first independent director to serve as chairman of the bank. Ms. Kattiya Indaravijaya and Ms. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul will hold an online press conference on April 7, 2020, while Mr. Bandhur Lamsam will speak with the media online on April 8, 2020.
