Dr. Netnapit Sukbang-Naidu, Chairperson of The Estate (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited, or MQDC, organized the Create Endless Opportunities 2020 event to thank over 40 partners in real estate investment, sales, and leasing, strengthen relationships, and collaborate on expanding business opportunities in investment consulting, sales, and leasing for both Thai and international clients who come to do business or reside in Thailand and seek various types of housing, including benefits from real estate under the quality brand of MQDC. More than 70 representatives from partner companies attended the event.
The Create Endless Opportunities 2020 event was organized to express gratitude to all partners who have worked with us throughout the past year. Each of you is a part of what has made The Estate successful in achieving its goals.
Therefore, our policy for 2020 continues to focus on supporting partners with information about the various projects we manage, ensuring that our partners understand the strategies and key selling points of the diverse projects in different locations. Every project developed by MQDC aims to address housing needs suitable for target groups and customer demands, ultimately leading to the important goal of MQDC contributing to improving the quality of life for customers and the surrounding community, in line with the philosophy of For All Well Being that we are committed to conducting business responsibly towards society. We hope this event will support our partners and us in working together with aligned goals and enhance the effectiveness of our operations.
The event featured special activities for knowledge sharing and experience exchange, led by Mr. Nonti Suphasavee, Senior Director of Digital Life Corporation Limited, Ms. Pakawadee Jitthitheeranont, Director of Wisdom Project at Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited or MQDC, and Mr. Liyapol Akkaratsameephokin, Project Marketing Manager at DTGO Corporation Limited, who honored us with a lecture on MQDC Branding and Positioning at Escape Bangkok EmQuartier.
Although the overall economic outlook for Thailand, as assessed by the Joint Private Sector Committee of three institutions (JCC), has revised the GDP growth forecast for this year to 2.0-2.5%, down from the previous estimate of 2.5-3.0%, due to negative factors both domestically and internationally, including the outbreak of the coronavirus, delays in the implementation of the 2020 budget, and the PM 2.5 dust problem that may affect the quality of life and outdoor activities of consumers, the company assesses that the target market has not been significantly affected by the economic situation. The company is confident that the domestic market still has a demand for quality housing, just as the international market for leading real estate in Bangkok still has significant growth opportunities in the long term, provided we overcome the crisis from the economic downturn due to the pandemic, which is expected to end in the next 3-6 months.
For the company's revenue in the past year, it met the set target, achieving a total revenue of approximately 1.2 billion baht, while the target for 2020 aims for a growth of 25-30% from 2019.
