The Home Builder Business Association has announced the postponement of the Home Builder Focus 2020 event, which was scheduled to take place from March 12-15 at Impact Hall 7, Muang Thong Thani. This decision was made due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus, prioritizing the safety of event attendees. It is emphasized that consumers can still trust home building companies and can seek consultations and services as usual.

Mr. Worawut Kanjanakul, President of the Home Builder Business Association, stated that due to the rapid spread of COVID-19, the public, especially those living in Bangkok, is highly concerned about the outbreak. This is evident from the increased awareness of daily news and changes in behavior to prevent the virus's spread. The association is not taking this situation lightly and has decided to postpone the Home Builder Focus 2020 event, originally scheduled for March 12-15, while continuously monitoring the COVID-19 situation.

“The Home Builder Focus 2020 is the largest exhibition gathering leading home building companies, organized by the Home Builder Business Association for over 15 years. Each year, the Focus event is held in March, followed by the Home Builder Expo in August. This year, we planned to hold the Home Builder Focus 2020 from March 12-15 at Impact Hall 7, Muang Thong Thani. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, which requires daily monitoring, the association has prepared safety and health measures, including providing COVID-19 life insurance for those who book home construction at the event. Nevertheless, due to the high level of concern about public gatherings, the board has decided to prioritize the safety and health of attendees and postpone the event without a new date set, depending on the situation. The association has communicated with over 30 leading home building companies participating in the event, providing them with detailed information to maintain their confidence in the association,” Mr. Worawut said.

Furthermore, the Home Builder Business Association continues to act as a mediator between consumers and leading home building companies under its umbrella. Consumers wishing to build a home or seek consultations can still contact the Home Builder Business Association for services as usual. More details can be found at www.hba-th.org.
