ORI-KBank Launches Joint Venture Deal for 'BUTLER', Thailand's First All-in-One Service App
"Origin" partners with "Kasikorn Bank" to launch a joint venture with its subsidiary "Digital Butler", the developer of the BUTLER app and platform that consolidates all service partners into a single app, including housekeeping, home maintenance, laundry services, and connections between juristic persons and residents. This collaboration aims to enhance payment methods and service channels while introducing new features to comprehensively meet consumer needs.
Mr. Pirapong Jaroonaek, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), the developer of condominiums under the brands Park Origin, Knightsbridge, Notting Hill, Kensington, and the Britania housing project, revealed that the company and Kasikorn Bank or KBank have signed a joint venture agreement in Digital Butler Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Origin Property, which develops the BUTLER app and platform, Thailand's first app that consolidates all services for easier living.
“Both we and Kasikorn Bank share a common vision of leveraging technology and innovation to comprehensively address consumer lifestyles. This collaboration represents a synergy between a real estate developer and a leading commercial bank, aiming to create a digital platform that facilitates various services efficiently,” Mr. Pirapong stated.
BUTLER is a community management platform that aggregates all services, such as housekeeping, home maintenance, and laundry services, by collaborating with various partners within a single app, including Seekster, Fixzy, Helpdee, Betagro, and JP Insurance.

Additionally, BUTLER has developed a platform that connects juristic persons with residents in projects, employees, and partner services. It features functions such as viewing and managing internal activity schedules of juristic persons, using common areas, budget planning, notifying utility bills with immediate online payment options, reporting repairs and service issues with real-time status tracking, and direct chat with the juristic manager, as well as managing employees and viewing the work schedules of partners operating in the project area, facilitating both juristic persons and residents.
Upon completion of the share purchase of Digital Butler Co., Ltd., the company will hold approximately 52% of Digital Butler through Primo Property Solutions Co., Ltd., its subsidiary managing all service businesses under Origin Property, while the founding group of Digital Butler will hold about 35%, and Kasikorn Bank will hold 10%.

According to Mr. Patchara Samalapa, Managing Director of Kasikorn Bank or KBank, the bank continues to pursue its strategy of collaborating with leading partners across various businesses under the concept of Better Together, combining the strengths of each party to jointly provide the best services for consumers' daily lives. For BUTLER under the Origin Property umbrella, it is a potential platform that connects service providers with users and links residents with juristic persons. At the same time, BUTLER consolidates all convenience services into a single app, allowing immediate online payment for services and utilities, addressing the needs of digital-age living, which is a significant reason for the company's decision to invest in this venture.
Initially, Kasikorn Bank will enhance the efficiency and security of payment methods and increase access to BUTLER services for bank customers through various banking channels, such as K Plus, among others. Additionally, there are plans to consider further collaborations in the future.

Since its official launch at the end of August, BUTLER has attracted interest from over 500 project juristic persons to sign up for its services, with plans to continuously develop new features that connect consumer lifestyles with startups and local businesses, creating Community Media that allows individuals in the same residential project to communicate more conveniently.
