"Origin" Partners with Fulcrum Global to Open Hong Kong Office, Targeting 15 Billion Baht in Sales Over 3 Years
Origin has partnered with Fulcrum Global, a leading international real estate investment company based in Hong Kong, to aggressively push its flagship projects into foreign markets. The company expects to generate 15 billion baht in international sales over the next 3 years, with a target of 4 billion baht this year. The new office, "Origin Hong Kong," aims to expand its international customer base.
Mr. Pirapong Jarunek, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), the developer of condominiums under the brands Park Origin, Knightsbridge, Notting Hill, Kensington, and the Britania brand of horizontal projects, revealed that the company is focused on building the "Empire of Origin" this year and is seriously planning to expand into international markets. Therefore, it has formed a strategic partnership with Fulcrum Global, which will act as the sole investor and sales distributor for Origin's flagship projects in foreign markets.

Ms. Benyapa Phempoon, Senior Director of International Business at Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), stated that Origin began entering the international real estate sales market around July 2017, using a multi-agent sales system, generating approximately 1.2 billion baht in sales during the second half of 2017. After partnering with Fulcrum, Fulcrum will play a crucial role in bringing customer bases and market insights to enhance sales activities in international markets such as China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia, as well as being a key partner to help Origin reach new buyer segments and markets, particularly in Europe.

“With a partner that has expertise in various markets, we are aiming for 4 billion baht in international sales this year, which should significantly contribute to Origin's total sales growth for 2018, surpassing the targets set at the beginning of the year. At the same time, we expect to achieve over 15 billion baht in international sales over the next 3 years,” Ms. Benyapa said.
Mr. Frank Lueng, Managing Director of Fulcrum Global, expressed that this is an exciting opportunity for a stronger collaboration between Origin and Fulcrum. Fulcrum has previously succeeded as an investor by purchasing over 450 units in the Park 24 condominium project and has also launched the serviced apartment “The Park at EM District,” managed by The Ascott Limited, which has garnered significant interest from both Thai and foreign buyers looking for stable investment properties with good management.

“The condominium market in Thailand is very attractive to foreign buyers. It has been estimated that in 2017, the market for foreign buyers in Thai real estate was over 120 billion baht and is expected to grow by 40% in 2018. Origin's projects have set new standards in terms of location, project concepts, room layouts, and amenities,” Mr. Frank said.
