JICA commends 'Jin Wellbeing County', a new concept city for retirees, emphasizing that Thailand's first integrated healthcare model will provide maximum benefits. Discussions on collaboration to enhance knowledge and develop products for a more comfortable and safer living for seniors in the project and elderly people in Thailand were also held.

Recently, Ms. Thitaree Yuwithaya, Deputy CEO of Marketing for Jin Wellbeing County, revealed that a delegation of executives and researchers from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), led by Dr. Yoshinori Kondo, head of the Regional Environmental Research Center, visited the Jin Wellbeing County project, Thailand's first integrated healthcare city for retirees.

In addition to touring the project and learning about the design concepts, personalized medicine, facilities, and services, the JICA representatives discussed ways to innovate living solutions for seniors, such as multipurpose vehicles for use within the project. This will enhance convenience and safety, allowing elderly residents to travel independently within the community. Once fully developed, these innovations will serve as a model for broader public application, creating a future city that is safe and comfortable for all demographics.

Jin Wellbeing County is a project under the Thonburi Healthcare Group (THG), which has over 40 years of experience in hospitals and healthcare. The project was initiated as THG recognized that Thailand and many countries worldwide are entering an aging society, prompting the development of a new city concept that addresses comprehensive living needs while caring for seniors and their families in the best environment for perfect relaxation.

Jin Wellbeing County is developed as a 'new concept city for retirees' that aims to provide happiness, comfort, and safety for residents through world-class services and a relaxing environment with over 50% of the project dedicated to natural spaces. Additionally, it is designed with universal living standards in mind, considering all age groups, and offers comprehensive healthcare with a team of medical professionals and experts. For instance, it utilizes a smart tracking system to ensure the safety of residents and connects individual health data for personalized medicine tailored to each person's lifestyle.

The project spans 140 rai, located near Bangkok University, Don Mueang Airport, and the dark red line of the sky train, and has received environmental impact assessment (EIA) approval.

Moreover, Jin Wellbeing County is the only project from Asia and one of seven projects globally selected for an Honorable Mention in the EFA Design Showcase 2018 by EFA magazine in the United States, which featured 36 participating projects. Jin Wellbeing County was recognized for its outstanding healthcare and housing solutions for seniors, showcasing excellence in concept, aesthetics, and innovation.
