Just Turn Off the Lights and Change the World: LPN Invites You to Switch Off for the Planet
Can you believe it? Just the touch of your finger can help reduce electricity consumption! L.P.N. Development Public Company Limited (LPN) recognizes the importance of conserving electrical resources and is campaigning for the communities in Lumpini, over 130 communities and 250,000 families, to participate in the event “60+ Earth Hour 2018: Turn Off the Lights for One Hour to Combat Global Warming”. This event is organized by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Foundation for Environmental Education for Sustainable Development (Thailand): FEED, and WWF Thailand, aiming to mitigate the causes that could lead to future crises from global warming, instill awareness about energy conservation, and promote environmental consciousness among residents under the concept of Green Community Management. This means managing communities with consideration for environmental impacts and reducing energy use, emphasizing from the construction design process to maintaining the quality of life for residents after the handover of units. This campaign is part of a collaboration with 7,000 cities worldwide and marks the 10th year that Thailand has participated in this initiative, with increasing interest each year. This year, over 50 organizations in Thailand supported the event, where people from all sectors participated by turning off unused lights for one hour on Saturday, March 24, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. LPN has participated in this event for the fifth consecutive year, managing to save a total of 13,319 kilowatt-hours of electricity. Besides the energy savings, this activity also fosters relationships among residents, providing opportunities for socializing and building good connections. To add excitement to this year's event, LPN has campaigned both internally and in the community by inviting employees and residents to share ideas on "energy reduction" under the campaign "Reduce Energy, Build Relationships" through images and video clips.

In the condominium project “Lumpini,” the juristic person also cooperated by turning off lights in common areas and promoting creative activities that do not use electricity or use it minimally, such as meditation, prayer, flashlight markets, and running to combat global warming.
“Just Turn Off ... and the World Changes.” Small actions, when combined by many, can create sustainable happiness for everyone.
