Bangkok <\/strong>- February 9, 2018 <\/strong>- Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC)<\/strong> under Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC) has introduced techniques for designing office interiors that promote sustainable quality of life, adhering to WELL standards, and organized a robotics workshop for the public to experiment with design at the RISC center recently.<\/p>

This robotics seminar and workshop is part of Bangkok Design Week, a design festival held from January 27 to February 3, which is the first collaboration between government agencies and leading private design firms both domestically and internationally in Thailand. The RISC center and Obodroid were also invited to showcase their innovations at this festival.<\/p>

“RISC focuses on research under the principle of ‘innovation for sustainability’. We strive to conduct research that achieves environmental sustainability goals while also improving quality of life and contributing to social and economic development,” said the spokesperson.<\/p>

RISC collaborated with the design team from the joint venture Obodroid Corporation to conduct a workshop where participants could brainstorm, share ideas, and design the functionality of robots themselves, aiming to explore the needs of actual users.<\/p>
