TEDx is a concept for organizing talks to share ideas worth spreading, with the belief that these powerful ideas can bring about change in our society. The TEDx events are global gatherings held in major cities, universities, and significant locations worldwide, featuring recorded talks that are shared online to reach audiences globally. In 2016, we held TEDxBuengkaennakorn in Khon Kaen, marking the first TEDx event in the northeastern region of Thailand. The event received excellent feedback for facilitating talks and exchanging ideas with notable individuals at both national and regional levels, and the recorded videos were shared online worldwide. This year, we have the privilege of organizing the event under the name TEDxKhonKaen on April 7, 2018, to create another opportunity to share ideas that will benefit the community and society. This event is organized by local volunteers who are not compensated and do not seek profit. There will be a total of 16 speakers and performances, mostly from local individuals in the northeastern region, who possess powerful ideas worth sharing to create social change.
