"Q-CON" reinforces its leadership in lightweight concrete innovation by organizing a demonstration of the Q-CON Wall Panel installation system

The highlight focused on presenting the innovation of lightweight concrete wall panels reinforced with steel, which are strong, quick to construct, lightweight, easy to work with, provide thermal insulation, soundproofing, and fire resistance, and can be drilled and embedded for system work.

 

          In an era of rising construction labor costs and potential labor shortages, the Q-CON Wall Panel, a new innovation for the construction industry, helps address the skilled labor shortage while reducing labor costs and time. This initiative is led by Quality Construction Products Public Company Limited (SCG Group), a leader in lightweight concrete innovation for over 25 years under the brand "Q-CON." The Q-CON technical service team organized the event.

          The demonstration of the installation of the lightweight concrete wall panel system (Q-CON Wall Panel) took place recently at the City Link Condo project in Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) for architects, contractors, project owners, and the Nakhon Ratchasima provincial municipality.

          The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Weerapol Jongjaroenchai, Managing Director of Coordinate Design & Development, Executive Director of Klung Casa, and former president of the Real Estate Association of Nakhon Ratchasima, who attended the demonstration. The Q-CON Wall Panel is a prefabricated lightweight concrete wall panel reinforced with steel, featuring a groove and tongue design that makes installation easy. It can be used for both interior and exterior walls of buildings and can withstand wind loads of up to 180 kg/m².

          The highlight of the demonstration event focused on the innovation of the wall panel products, which are strong, quick to construct, lightweight, easy to work with, provide thermal insulation, soundproofing, and fire resistance, and can be drilled and embedded for system work. This innovation represents a significant advancement in the wall construction sector in Thailand, reinforcing Q-CON's leadership in lightweight concrete to architects, real estate developers, contractors, and craftsmen through practical demonstrations of product usage. Attendees experienced high-quality Q-CON products installed as examples to showcase their surprisingly easy and quick application, commonly used in green building projects that help conserve the environment, reduce energy consumption, and prevent heat while maintaining strength due to the rust-resistant steel reinforcement, ensuring easy transportation and installation.

          Given the properties that meet the current construction demands in Thailand, large real estate projects have chosen to use lightweight concrete wall panels reinforced with steel (Q-CON Wall Panel) for condominiums, hotels, houses, and commercial buildings. They are widely used in Korat, such as Terminal 21 Korat, Central Plaza Korat, Korat Animal Hospital, The Grace Khao Yai Village, For Rest Resort Khao Yai, and the Chao Hor Regional Waterworks. Currently, over 200 major projects in Thailand have opted for lightweight concrete wall panels reinforced with steel (RLC).
