On October 17, 2017, the TSCA (Thai Shopping Center Association), led by Ms. Walaya Jirathiwat, the association's president, along with 13 committee members from the shopping center business sector, held a press conference to promote the vision of Shopping Center 4.0. This initiative aims to transform the retail business to meet the needs of people in the digital age through three strategies.

1) Customer-Centric: Putting Consumers at the Center
Improving the shopping center format to better suit modern lifestyles, such as offering co-working spaces, services for modern families, health and sports services, pet services, and travel services.

2) Omnichannel: Emphasizing Integrated Marketing Across All Channels for a Seamless Shopping Experience
Focusing on niche markets by utilizing data from various membership cards and increasing the number of shopping centers that support cashless payment systems.

3) Build Partnership: Creating Alliances
Transforming business competitors into partners, focusing on meeting consumer needs rather than competing against each other, and collaborating to support various government policies.

Additionally, the members of the Thai Shopping Center Association are ready to contribute to national development by supporting the government through investments in various provinces that align with infrastructure development plans. This is evident from the launch of Central Plaza Korat, Terminal 21 Korat, and more. There is also investment in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) areas, including Pattaya and Rayong, with projects such as Terminal 21 Pattaya, Central Marina, and Central Plaza Rayong already underway.
